Then when…read morethe weather began to cool off we couldn't get the house to warm over 18C no matter what we did. We called and they booked us a service appointment one month later(!). The weather wasn't that cold yet so I grudgingly accepted. Then I got my power bill a few days later and it was TRIPLE what it normally had been with my old furnace in WINTER (this was for July) - over $700!. I called back and demanded someone come and take a look at it immediately. They did and discovered it was a setting that had been set wrong. They fixed it, but in spite of my claim that they should reimburse part of my power bill, my calls and emails were ignored. Fine. Fast forward to today... June of 23. Just over one year after installation (by 2 weeks). I discovered a puddle in my laundry room that originated from my heat pump in the room next to it. Called them and it will take two weeks to get someone to come look at it. AND I was told that since it's been over a year there would be a service fee. Unacceptable. I'm going to have to fix it myself. Overall, the original installation went great. They had it installed and running in one day. After that, they don't seem to care about customer service. This seems to be a company that wants to sell you a product then wash their hands of you. Stay away.

We are extremely disappointed with the service we received from Hayward Healthy Home Solutions. In November, our heat pump began making a loud noise, so we contacted them for a repair. Even though we knew exactly what part was needed, it took two weeks for a technician to come. When he finally arrived, he didn't have the part with him. Instead, he stuffed a rag in the unit as a temporary fix and left to order the part. We waited another two weeks for him to return -- again, without the part. After an additional two-week wait, the issue was finally fixed. We were then charged a $138 service fee, which we were never informed about beforehand. Although frustrated, we paid the fee. A month later, our heat pump started showing an error code and was repeatedly shutting off and on. We called Hayward again and waited several weeks before they came and removed the entire outdoor unit. After waiting a few more weeks with little to no communication, we had to keep calling them for updates. We were repeatedly promised that the repair was nearly done, but at the last minute, we were told that the part wasn't included in the shipment and had to be reordered -- another two-week delay. When they finally returned the unit, we were told there would be no service charge, which we appreciated. However, we were then surprised with a refrigerant charge of $123.05, something that had never been mentioned ahead of time. Throughout this process, we spent over $500 in oil to heat our home because the heat pump was out of service for months. Hayward never apologized for the delays, the poor communication, or the inconvenience. Worse, when we questioned the surprise charges, we were told that they didn't care if we paid. This level of service is completely unacceptable. A company should always inform customers about costs before performing work, maintain clear communication, and take responsibility for mistakes -- not blame the supplier (in this case, LG) and leave customers in the dark. We strongly recommend that others avoid Hayward Healthy Home Solutions. Their disorganization, lack of communication, surprise charges, and unprofessional behavior made this a terrible experience. We will not be returning. read more

I called early in the morning and Jeff arrived in no time. He got right to work and quickly determined that our previous electrician from Jeneric had miswired our baseboard heaters so they only got luke warm. Because none of the junction boxes in the attic were labeled, it took quite a bit of work to figure it out. It also turned out that one of the baseboard heaters had the ground wire jammed in a coil so that heater was replaced and the thermostat was also not working properly so that was replaced. Jeff stayed to test everything. We were toasty warm last night. Not only is Jeff great at his job, he is friendly and professional.

He was willing to come out on Sunday morning, arrived exactly when he said that he would, and was able to assess the problem quickly. We needed a new well pump, so I went pump shopping while he scheduled a return visit Monday morning. He was very responsive by text message when I needed advice on what to get. The installation looks good, much better than what was there before. Next time I need plumbing work, I'll call him back.

In a panic, I called a carpenter friend of mine. He came over right away. So they figured out a plan to get this done and of course the job grew to 3 times what we expected.
