Within days numerous Extensions were slipping out and others barely hanging on. I discovered that her training for certification consisted of watching a bunch of YouTube videos, no classroom training she didn't even take a formal class. I had to have a consult done at another salon to get this fixed after Caledonia hair company refused to fix them or to refund my money in full . The other salon said it's the biggest mess of hair extensions she's ever seen and the person who did them has no business offering this service and recommended I formally complain to Dreamcatchers. I attempted to resolve this issue with the owner of the company who abruptly hung up on me . This business has unknowledgeable, poorly trained staff and horrible customer service . Since it was a holiday week (July 4), I made an appointment for 9:30 AM and arrived shortly before the salon opened. Neither the tech who did my pedicure nor a different tech who did my manicure bothered to introduce themselves to me. I felt pressured to select my nail color quickly and the entire appointment felt rushed. I was in the foot bath for just a couple of minutes before the tech began my pedicure. She hurried through each step and didn't give much attention to trimming my cuticles or nails, ignoring my ingrown nails entirely. Throughout my pedicure, the tech was constantly stopping to greet walk-in customers and at one point, she became so distracted that she failed to put a base coat on my nails before applying polish. :-( When I go to the nail salon, I want to relax and be pampered. Unfortunately, I didn't feel relaxed or pampered at Aleena Nail Salon so I'll try another salon next time.

I paid, tipped, and decided not to return. I chalked it up to a bad experience and figured I'd find another place in town I liked. A few months later, I received a call from the owner telling me the masseuse who worked on me was no longer there and they were inviting clients back to see how much better the new masseuse was. I think throwing a former employee under the bus is pretty poor form but that isn't the reason I declined to come back. I just didn't want to spend money at a place that had already disappointed me. Since then, they've subscribed me to their text messages without my consent. I've unsubscribed multiple times and about every six months, new text messages arrive. The same goes for their email. I have unsubscribed multiple times and finally emailed directly last week to ask them to please remove me from their list. Yesterday, they sent me ANOTHER email from their list. They clearly don't care about spamming people and retain client information that they shouldn't. This is just bad business and highly unprofessional.
