Don't go to Jackson Maddux who does initial medical consultation before physical therapy can begin. Rating Maddux poorly. He stretches a 30 minute diagnostic conversation to 60 minutes with conversation about himself and his non-medical philosophies. Dr. Maddux completed the review of my medical records, MRI's and x-rays while I sat there. We were done discussing my condition and treatment options in 30 minutes. He dragged on the conversation to fill a 60 minute billing by talking about Margaret Mead's book and philosophies, health care in the Netherlands, where he practiced in Colorado and why he left, mountain runoff in Colorado leading to chemicals in the water. My appointment started 15 minutes late with his nurse. Dr. Maddux arrived 15 minutes after the nurse finished (30 minutes into appt.). He's a great conversationalist, but I don't need to be billed $578 when 30 minutes of the appointment is spent on non-medical conversation. Interestingly, when exactly 60 minutes were up, he closed his computer, stood up and left quickly. Do not go to him unless you don't care about your medical costs.

You won't find a better doctor that is kind, understanding, supportive, and welcoming. Dr. Richard…read moreFroehle is the only doctor that I have met that thanked me for trusting him with the care of my children (and he did it on the first visit which was just a consult)! I will admit that he typically runs behind schedule, however, that kind of worked when we were trying to make it there with two babies and both parents for one visit. Jen is a wonderful assistant and never has an unkind word. Dr. Froehle and Jen work with you to provide appointments even if he comes in before or stays after hours. When our kids started to crawl, he would turn off the table so that they could hit buttons and not hurt anyone but still treat the parent. My daughter had stranger danger but would hold out her arms to go to Dr. Froehle! He works within your parameters - he was careful not to over-treat you and make smaller adjustments when needed for longer term goals and success. One of the best moments was when my husband had a cold and went in for a treatment. Dr. Froehle spent a good amount of time, massaging the bones in his face and skull to help relieve the pressure! Who would have thought to consult with a chiropractor for a cold :) If establishing a great relationship with your doctor for a more holistic approach is what you are looking for - you will never feel like a number to this amazing team.
