This place was recommended to me by a friend who used its services. I transferred 20 VHS tapes to digital format and had them put on a hard drive. VHS tapes that I didn't think could be copied were transferred to digital. Even though most were very old (20-30 years) and the quality was poor, the copies were decent and worth it because of the memories that we now have on hand for viewing. I preferred having a local place transfer the VHS tapes than mailing them to some company. I didn't trust putting these precious memories in the mail and was afraid of them getting lost or destroyed. The job was done faster than expected and the price was not just reasonable but better than most other places. I did incur extra charges because the tapes had a lot more footage on them than labeled. I let him know that these were PAL VHS-C Tapes and that I needed them done quickly. First off, they wanted to talk with me on the phone prior to me placing the order so that they understood what I needed and could set reasonable expectations for completion, which was great as they were very professional. I needed to my parents' wedding video from VHS to jump drive to play parts of it during my own wedding in the coming weeks. This was the only copy of the video that exists and would be a highlight of my wedding, so needless to say it was very important to me and needed to be handled with car. In preparation for a multi-generational move, we had 40+ photo albums to move or digitize. We decided to go digital. In preparation, we selected nearly one thousand photos, slides, DVDs, and VHS tapes to convert. During the selection of the images, it was like taking a journey through the early 1900s to very recent. I had 60 DVD video discs from 1980-2000 developed from VHS movie transfers. I played one recently and no data on the disc, I called Harold and he had me bring them in to his facility. They are masters at data recovery. He tried different approaches to resurrect the data. Eventually he went in and opened several folders on one disc and then permanently finalized the DVD movie disc. He and his staff are now working on the rest in a timely fashion. The price for the total job is most reasonable. read more

I own a few vinyl LP's that I wanted to convert to CD's for my own personal use (i.e., not for resale). I engaged HB Media Solutions to perform the conversion at what I believe was a reasonable price. Harold took meticulous care with my old records, devoting a lot of time to insuring that the conversion was performed correctly. This is not as easy as it may sound as an LP conversion must be done in real time, while maintaining an accurate separation of tracks. Further, the songs on the CDs came out better than the LP versions as Harold diligently removed the pops, hisses and other extraneous noise. When I picked up the LPs and CDs Harold took the time to explain to me how I ought to input the artist and song title information into my computer. I unhesitatingly recommend HB Media Solutions.
