History

Established in 2004.

HBB Website Solutions has been in business designing websites since Oct. 2004 and is located in Amarillo, Texas. My history starts back in the mid-80's in Information Technology, computer design and repair and Local Area Networking design and installation. From that point, in the mid-90's, I went back to college to learn the latest in computer programming languages. Preceeding going out on my own I coded and designed websites for a large, corporate entity. Like anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit, I saw the opportunity to do what I love to do without the confinement of corporate culture and jumped at it. I have been building personal, business, and eCommerce websites since.

I had hired this company in May to do a whole house cleaning and they did a very good job. So then…read moreI decided to hire them again recently to do a regular cleaning based on a five hour quote I was given in May. The two young ladies came on time and seemed to be doing what was asked of them per the quote... dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning bathrooms, etc. I took a quick look around and everything seemed to be in order. But the next day, I checked the kitchen floor and under the shelf units and under the secretary and the hutch and they were still dirty and clearly had not been done. I spoke with the owner, who questioned my manner of checking the kitchen floor and was going to send the girls back over, but I declined that offer. I had already redone the cleaning myself. Then later in the week, I dropped an earring under my bed and had to retrieve it with the ceiling fan broom and found a ton of dust under my bed (see the pic below). And more was discovered under my dresser and under the night stands!! I also thought it was odd that there were no vacuum marks on the rug in my husband's office. I sent the picture of the dust in an email to the owner and asked for a refund of one hour of work, $42, because it was clear that the job was poorly done and I was going to have to do it all myself. At 70 years of age and having many medical issues this year, the cleaning service was a welcome helper (or so I thought!). Instead of an apology from the owner, today, I received a check for $42, and written in the memo line was " extortion, unrealistic expectations".!!! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone as they do not know how to conduct business nor do they know how to treat their customers!!
