At our initial meeting I was very encouraged by Kathryn. I informed her that our daughter was recently diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum and that she was not going to be very receptive to meeting new people and learning new things. Kathryn suggested that because of her being on the spectrum that in fact may help her with homework as she said kids on the spectrum are sometimes more regimented with tasks. Unfortunately many weeks into the sessions we all agreed that our daughter wasn't doing her homework and therefore was not progressing as she should be. What happen next floored us. Kathryn spoke to my husband after one session regarding our daughter not progressing. Recently our daughter had seen her Pediatrician for a urinary tract infection and Kathryn brought this up saying this was surprising to her because in her opinion "13 year old girls don't get urinary tract infections" and also thought it was odd that our daughter wouldn't do her homework in front of her own father and proceeded to ask him if our daughter masterbates. She said it was something she was going to have to "flag". My husband felt she was insinuating there may be some type of abuse in the home. When I asked her to explain what a urinary tract infection and masterbation have to do with speech therapy she would not answer that and instead just kept talking over me about her speech therapy. I asked again and still got no answer from Kathryn as to why she brought those things up at all. We were left with the opinion that Kathryn feels her years of experience as a speech therapist has made her an expert on all things related to children and justified her right to ask about our daughters medical diagnosis and whether or not she masterbates and insinuate that her lack of progression in speech therapy was due to some kind of abuse. I would never, ever recommend Kathryn Williams to anyone looking for a speech therapist. Her arrogance in over stepping her boundaries and going completely outside her scope of expertise was totally unprofessional and absolutely appalling.

Melissa is fun, energetic, and passionate about her work and her clients. She really cares about her clients and she will help improve your oral health in ways you probably had no idea existed. I was a client for myofunctional therapy, due to a tongue tie I had no idea existed until about nine months ago. My therapy lasted a little over six months with daily tongue exercises. I became a master tongue-clicker and my tongue is now more yolked than ever before! What was pretty exhausting at first has lead to a tongue that can swallow correctly, without contributing to gum recession, and compete in tongue building competitions. Melissa was seriously so fun to work with. Going to see her was always a fun and enjoyable experience, even when put under the microscope tongue light being observed while I swallow incorrectly. But I can absolutely tell I made positive changes and received positive results in a journey to proper oral health. Thank you Melissa for your great work. If you or your child need a pathologist, look no further than Melissa Beck. You will not be disappointed.

There's something so special about the way she connects with kids -- it's like she brings out their best without them even realizing they're working! We've seen such incredible progress in Blake's speech, but even more importantly, she looks forward to every single session. It's her favorite part of the week. The environment is warm, encouraging, and full of positive energy -- truly a magic place where kids thrive and can be themselves. We as parents have learned so much from Riley and she's given us so many useful tools and ideas to incorporate into Blake's daily life. Her knowledge is invaluable! I can't recommend Riley and her team enough to any parent looking for a caring, skilled, and truly gifted group of SLP's. We are so grateful for their impact on Blake's confidence and communication!

We have seen multiple therapists, but SLP Riley is without a doubt the very best. We initially worked with her when she was at a different company, but when she started her own clinic, I knew we would follow her. There are so many things I can say about SLP Riley, but words don't do her justice. She is kind, empathetic, patient, full of energy, fun, and REALLY good at her job. She meets children where they are at developmentally and works hard to engage them in a very personalized way to augment results. Since starting her clinic, she has hired a couple other therapists and really wonderful staff. I would (and do!!) recommend each and every therapist at her clinic very highly. We love SLP Riley and her speech service dog, Waffles. Check out her instagram to see what I mean! (@slpriley)
