The service cost $70 before tip, and when we got our dog home it was obvious that his face and the top of his head had barely been touched, if at all. The area around his bum also needed additional trimming, so we ended up getting out our own clippers and scissors to finish the job ourselves. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect the areas most owners immediately notice to be addressed during a grooming appointment. For the price charged, I shouldn't have to complete the haircut after getting home. The staff was pleasant and the convenience is hard to beat, but based on the results, I had a difficult time justifying the cost. If you're paying for a full grooming service, it's reasonable to expect the face, head, and sanitary areas to be properly finished before your dog leaves the shop.

I'm feeling neutral to suspicious about this place…read more Now we take Wesley here each month to get groomed. They do a beautiful job at that. No problems. Wesley seems happy when we pick him up. My problem is we started to use them for his shots. It only made sense to us since they had to call his previous vet to get his medical history. But when we took him in, they did not want us to come back and be with him while he was getting his shots. Now this seems odd to me since with all my other animals and vets, we were always allowed to go back with them. Never has a vet refused to allow us back so we could comfort the animal during that stressful time. Something seems off about this. I think while I'll continue to get him groomed there, I'll take him back to his previous vet for his shots.

We have been using Puffy Paws since August, 2022. Colleen is the owner and groomer. She is very…read moresweet and compassionate giving a lot of love to our pups along with a great cut. She does well with fur babies with special needs which a few of our dogs were before they passed. Colleen does well with dogs that are easily stressed that may not have fun at a groomer. She also does special requests such as dying one of our babies fur. See pic below of baby Maggie getting her hair dyed.
