The store is a total scam. They sell used and repackaged Plum vapes. Plastic wrap looks like a handmade. There is a yellow nicotine tar on the tip of a stick. Imagine health hazard for a customer if previously used by sick person. Two store clerks were high on marijuana, rude and aggressive. Refused to give my money back. Stopped here today for some little cigars. They have a walk in humidor so I checked that out. To my pleasant surprise, they carry a selection of Romeo & Juliet cigars among others. Stopped in to buy an elf bar and I've noticed the same thing is going on with this smoke shop as it is with others. They are collecting the old elf bars and refilling them with cheap juice. I've been using the watermelon ice elf bar for a few months now so I know exactly what to expect. This is not it tho. The flavor is dull and not iced. It taste like pure sugar and no nicotine. Im disappointed in head west for exploiting customers. Other people may not notice but I do. I'll drive 20 minutes to buy an elf bar since I have to avoid these fraudulent smoke shops trying to make a profit by any means. I will not shop here anymore. Came in with a group of people when we left the person working came to the one black person in my group and accused him of stealing a battery ( there all under lock and key) when my friend tried to explain that he didn't steal that he was simply pointing at an items he even said you can check my car and my person and we all offered to be checked. He said no and continued to ban my friend . He said he got it on video and when we asked to see it he said no . We tried to politely calm down the situation and com to the same understanding but he refused to and slammed the door on us after running out to our car to accuse my friend if I could give negative stars I would ( the saddest part is he's was the only one to make an actual purchase and still go this treatment ) read more

Bought a vape pen here on 28 December. Tried it on 7 January and it didn't function properly. Brought it back only to be told they wouldn't take it back after 48 hours. This place SUCKS for customer service. I wouldn't buy anything else here even if I had no other options. I would rather drive 30 minutes out of my way to avoid such shitty customer service. I always thought if you sell a product you should back it up. The manager here offered no solutions or alternate options. This place can rot in hell before I will ever buy another item from them. I couldn't believe it. They had like a two second power glitch and neither of the employees could figure out how to get the register back on line. After about a 30 minute wait I offered to pay with all the cash I had since they couldn't take my card. Not a bad smoke shop. I often come here to buy Shisha and the guys that work here are always friendly and helpful. I also enjoy the incense they sell here. I recommend Dragons Blood, Mavericks, and Egyptian Musk they will make any house smell great and they're not too overpowering. Just right the amount of scent. If you are Hookah lovers I highly recommend anything from the brand Fumari. Especially Lemon Mint, Manderin Zest and Watermelon. I personally like to use Lemon Mint as the base for any Shisha Concoction im going to make them I will add other flavors of Shisha on top of it. Cheers! read more

Do you know how most smoke shops have 2 or 3 employees inside smoking cigarettes and cracking jokes? well not this one, they dont even smoke inside! so instead of smelling like stale smoke and inscents it just smells like inscents! which is good in my opinion! they sell come cool clothes there too! litterally anything you could ever need from a smoke shop and very helpful in explaining what will work best for you! I always come here for my tobacco needs as they have an awesome selection. I came in recently and the staff that usually helps me, wasnt there. Whoever was working this time wasnt helpful and was on his phone/bluetooth. He was an older guy with beard and tattoos. I had a couple questions but didnt bother, he seems irritated and unfriendly. I have never been to a head shop before where the person working was so knowledgeable and helpful. The employee was so friendly and took the time to explain everything I needed to know to make the perfect selection. Horrible experience here. Would not recommend. Was sold the incorrect down stem for a water pipe. Brought back to exchange for the right size only to get home and find that the percolator perforations were not cut all the way thru the glass. They would not exchange the defective product due to the fact it had been used only once and brought back very clean. I personally sterilized the glass by using alcohol . The associates were rude and told us to leave the store and would not exchange the defective item. Long story short, overpriced, poor products, and unfriendly staff make this my least favorite smoke shop in Tucson hands down. read more

When we moved to Tucson we didn't know of any smoke shops and since this one was by our house we decided to just swing in to Head West. My boyfriend and I decided to by a water pipe and spent about $40, we were excited to use the pipe that a man sold us. After ONE use the chamber separated clean off of the carb. I called the shop and a woman answered and assured us that we could come in and trade it for a new one, we went in maybe a day or so later when we had free time and the SAME MAN who sold us the piece refused to even acknowledge that the piece was defected. We were told there was absolutely nothing they could do because the piece had left the shop. Mind you not even a few days had passed since buying the piece and trying to bring it in. It seems clear that they sell extremely cheap and crappy products from reading these other reviews. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Not only is the customer service bad but you run the risk of losing your money as well. read more

Accidentally stopped in at a smoke shop on 1st and Prince and was told by the owner that he didn't own "that kind of smoke shop"...Alrighty then. He suggested we head to this place and I have to say, I am really happy with his suggestion! The no smoking sign on the door was ironic at first, but greatly appreciated upon opening the door. The store is clean, well organized, and has a great selection. We were greeted by an awesome sales associate, who put up with our lame sense of humor, right at away. Purchased my vape pen from these guys since I already bought my shisha here and because the shop was conveniently close to my good smoking buddy when we were out late. Chris the white dude with dreads was unhelpful and didn't want to do his job. when I originally asked him to show me how the pen works and is set up he just told me to "watch a youtube video" and I had to pressure him to set up my pen for me. The pen was hitting weird and after a few hits was hitting harsh with a 0 nicotine content juice. The shop was closed so I couldn't take it back that night. The next day I brought it back and the woman that was working there said she couldn't give me a refund( I let her hit the pen and she even said it was hitting weird and still hit weird even after we re-set it up) and had to call her boss in phoenix. The guy from phoenix didn't want to give me a refund for his defective product either. He told me that I had to wait 3 days for him to come down from phoenix so he could take a look at it and I told him that I wasn't going to wait 3 days for him to get a refund for a defective product his shop sold me. He told me that he would send his guy to see if the pen was defective. Lo and behold the guy that he sent was the unhelpful white guy with the dread locks. Long story short he re-setup the pen and it was still hitting the same with the harsh burnt taste and then he had the audacity to claim that "it was supposed to hit harsh like that" even after he admitted to me that he knew very little about vape pens "since he doesn't smoke them" earlier. After I called him out he agreed to replace the pen with a different(cheaper) one. After about 10-12 hit after I left the new pen completely went out and doesn't work at all. I called the shop later and got someone new on the phone, I told him that the new pen was defective and he told me that he would pass on the info and have them call me back. I never received a phone call back from anyone. I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy and will be filing a BBB complaint as well as having my bank pull the funds out of their account for selling me a defective product and not giving me a refund. read more

I recently purchased a product that i wasn't completely satisfied with (had nothing to do with the shop or their impeccable customer service. I broke my water pipe and was looking for something similar. Not a great selection not to mention they were extremely rude to me. First there was no one there to help me for about 15 minutes. They gave me a "warning" to kick me out because I said the word "bong" instead of "water pipe". Then proceeded to give me a definition of the two and how they contrast..is that a joke? I am from California (the word is clearly more laid back there) and I have my medical card. Because of this, I was so shocked that they would be so rude to deny my service or give a "warning" when I have a med. card. No one with their card should be denied service because they didn't use the correct terminology. Needless to say I will not be back. read more

My boyfriend bought me a $40 piece as a present and when trying to use it at home we come to find that there is a part broken inside, as well as more flaws on the outside. The guy working did not properly check it when selling it to my boyfriend, and failed to at least do a water test to see if it actually works. Upon calling the shop after we discovered the major flaws in the piece, the guy kept assuring us that it's fine even though it obviously was not. He then offered to call his manager to see if he could do anything. Of course, the manager said there was nothing he could do because it had left the shop, mind you the guy working did not do a proper inspection before it left the shop, so we could not exchange it or anything. The manager offered a measly 20% off our next purchase that can't even be used until 60 days is up which is completely ridiculous.
