We had a headliner and door panels that needed to be fixed and it was perfectly done! Definitely highly recommend. He came out to Livermore. Great experience and communicates!

Was very pleased by this whole experience. I got multiple estimates and the range was Alex on the low end to $1K. I would've had to give up the car for 24 to 48 hours to a traditional auto upholstery shop. But Alex is mobile and came to me. Did the job in about 2.5 hours. He was great to work with. No complaints. Lowest cost, most convenient.

No Notes! Made our mini cooper look brand new. Looks OEM. Call Alex immediately. We high recommend his work.

Got the headliner replaced for a 2012 VW GTI. Really quick response and great customer service from Alex. He did quality work for a very competitive price. If you've ever tried to do a headliner job yourself, you know how tedious and frustrating it can be. The foam backing on my headliner was disintegrating, so I couldn't just glue it back on without first removing all the old foam. It's a common problem with my car apparently. I tried scraping off and vacuuming the old foam without removing the headliner from the car, but I was just making a huge mess getting foam bits everywhere. Alex had the headliner out, cleaned up, reupholstered, and reinstalled in about 90 minutes. He seemed like he's had a lot of experience, and even knew the exact fabric just from the one picture I texted him. I definitely recommend you contact Alex if you want to make your life a lot easier and not deal with this job yourself. I can cruise around again with my windows down without feeling embarrassed about the headliner flapping all over the place.

Clearly, this is a pathetic & immature person (unfortunately I can't say "man".)Truth hurts, I know…read more-bottom line he took my money and I received nothing but inconvenience and frustration in return. Now he is trying to defame me? (Lol, gotta laugh because he can't actually defend his point so he attacks my credibility.) No apologizes or accommodations for the lack of service were offered. He would NOT appreciate the thievery I'm sure. My truck still smells after it rains due to mold and I'm still out the money. Breaks my heart because for me that was A LOT of money to spend and to be treated this way by the company that took my money is shameful. Icing on the cake is this sad person spends his time talking crap about his OWN customer (lol) instead of improving his business relationships. If you prefer to have actual quality service done on your vehicle-Do not go to this business! I sat on this for a while because I was so flabbergasted that he did not spend his time working with me (HIS customer and actually provide service i.e. install a sunroof that WORKS without leaking!) Instead, he acted like a child and sat and copied all of MY reviews, as I said pathetic and immature. NO VALUE in this business unless you want to give your money to a place that does not care about their customers. I encourage you, read all of this review and take note on how he treats customers. Offering to give me a number of another business that I can yet pay again- is NOT help. Mic drop- I suppose he will try to deflect again instead of "actual" resolution. Nonetheless, truth hurts. I will not back down to this immature bully. And you won't have to read my reviews because he likes to post them so take a look- I like to state the truth. Give your money/business to an honest person who provides quality customer service instead and let this person join our government since he enjoys being a bully.

I had the black (Toyota) Softex. In most cases, it would have been adequate, but given the purchase price, I felt this car needed LEATHER, not vinyl. The professionalism by the installers was no surprise given all the 5 star reviews from previous, ecstatic customers. This company bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule and to make sure everything was prepared prior to my arrival. I was so impressed by the finished product. I'm so glad I chose the Tuscany leather. It was worth the money. Definitely recommend Coach Automotive for your next interior. You won't regret the investment. The sales manager whose name I can't recall was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had sooooo many questions and was apprehensive, but (he) made me feel 100%. He didn't push, but lead to an interior design that best fit my personality: bougie and elegant at the same time. Hahaha. 10 stars if that was possible.

But I cannot in good conscience leave more stars than this because the work he did on my car was not good. I cannot speak for his abilities with re-upholstering furniture, because I didn't use those services. I'm sure he must be quite good at that, as all of his reviews seem to indicate that he excels at that. However, I needed the headliner replaced on my 38 year old car and before I made my decision I made sure to ask him if he has had experience replacing headliners and experience working on classic cars. I wanted to make sure I chose someone who understood the special care that needs to be taken with a classic car. Such as keeping it clean, making sure the finishes and upholstery, dash, door panels, etc. aren't damaged. He assured me by telling me that he has indeed replaced headliners and that he has had 30 years doing that, along with experience working on classic cars. I took my car to him and he told me that he would do my sun visors, as well as the headliner and that it should take 4 hours. That was totally fine with us, as we had already brought a second car with us and had intended to go antiquing around the East Bay while we waited. The job ended up taking 8 hours, which was totally okay with us. We were not in any hurry and just wanted the job done right, no-matter how long it took. But when we returned to his shop, he was still not done and the interior of the car was filthy. My steering wheel, rear view mirror, and door panels were covered with the mess that came down from the old headliner. The old foam backing from the old headliner had become a kind of goop that was stuck to the steering wheel and other surfaces. I'm glad that he at least covered the seats while taking down the old headliner, because that would've really been a disaster. So, I'm at least thankful for that. But what was really upsetting was the sun visors were not done the same way that they were done from the factory. He never told me that he would be doing them an entirely different way, and I'm incredibly disappointed. They don't have the stitching that they used to have and the edges/corners are crudely sewn ... and inspecting what he had done just went downhill from there!! Even worse was that he was handling the new headliner material with hands that were black with filth. I mean absolutely totally covered in dirty old foam backing that has a greasy, gooey texture to it. The roll of foam backed headliner fabric that I provided him cost me $350 and had to be custom ordered by a company in Oregon, for exact color match, and took 3 months to be delivered to me ... and there he was putting his hands, covered in filth, all over it. Leaving black dirt marks everywhere!!! Not only was he doing that, but he kept pushing in on newly mounted foam backed fabric ... pushing his fingers hard on it, into the ceiling of the car ... and every time he did, he was leaving indentations from his dirt covered fingers .. and the indentations were not popping back out!!! He told me that time (he said by the next day) and heat would pop out the indentations from his fingers and that I could clean the fabric with some kind of paint thinner. We literally spent hours the next day detailing and removing dirt from all the surfaces of the interior of the car. It's now several days later and the indentations from his fingers pressing into the headliner are still there and we are still noticing dirt spots that need to be cleaned, along with dirty spots that we can't seem to get out!! Anyone needing car upholstery work should know this ... do not take your car to him. I'm very unhappy with the job he did. I feel like the headliner has finger indentations and dirt that may never be gone and I'm crushed. Between the fabric I purchased and what I paid him, I've spend $700, just to be disappointed.

I first reached out to Rick on Yelp and he actually responded even though the shop was closed and it was his day off. He told me to stop by for a quote, and when I came in he took the time to look over everything carefully and explain my options. My Honda S2000 convertible top is shrinking and the rear glass had fallen off, which is not an easy job. Rick offered to glue the glass back in at a very fair price, but he was very honest and said he couldn't guarantee it would hold because the top is shrinking. What really impressed me was that he said if the glue repair doesn't work, he would credit the cost of that repair toward a full top replacement. That level of honesty and fairness is hard to find. He also looked at my seats and told me that if I bring in seat covers, he can wrap them for me, and he gave me a fantastic quote for that work as well. Rick was extremely patient and let me ask a ton of questions without ever making me feel rushed. You can tell he really knows his craft and cares about doing things the right way. I also saw some of the other cars he was working on and the quality of his work looked excellent. He is busy (for good reason), but he was still able to fit me into his schedule about two weeks out. I'm really excited to have him work on my S2000 and get the car looking brand new again. It's not easy to find honest shops anymore, but Rick is definitely one of the good ones.
