You feel like you're part of a community when you go here. - Everyone is focusing on their own workouts and there's no pretentious/competitive vibes. I was visiting from out of town and wanted to get back into shape. The MUST team was really accommodating doing personal training sessions with me on a short timeline and I really appreciated it. My intake and sessions were with Chris and he was the absolute best. He consistently offered me helpful tips to improve my form and stay motivated. I only wish I could take this gym and everyone with it back to my hometown.

I moved to Missoula and checked out MUST and well, it was even BETTER than my old awesome gym because there were tires to flip, working bathrooms, filtered water and a cool area for stretching. Plus the aforementioned racks. No wait for a squat rack in the morning. Then the quarantine hit and the owner was cool enough to let us borrow equipment to stay in shape. It is cool that he did something for us, when his being closed was 100% not his fault. And FWIW, it is a very clean gym. If your idea of a gym is a place one goes to lift heavy things, MUST will not disappoint.

I was charged for a locker for several months and then told by staff that they cancelled charging for lockers several months ago. My money was never returned for the months I was charged for a locker and did not have to actually pay. There was zero communication around the policy update. Then, a month or two later, Fuel chose to again charge for lockers. I signed up and was told I had to pay my first month while physically at Fuel. Then, the next month I was charged twice for one locker. Again, zero communication and I ONLY caught this by reviewing my payment history in the Fuel app. Once I brought it to the attention of the manager he refunded me the $10. If you choose to go here, as I said, the actual gym is fantastic, but make sure you check your payment history on a monthly basis and inquire about any abnormal charges immediately. I think that overall Fuel could do a much better job of informing its current members around policy updates.

The locker rooms were disgusting....gum ground into the carpet, the bathroom stalls have not been cleaned for months and the walls are covered in disgusting stains etc. The interior of the lockers are rusted, stained, dented and marred. I stopped using the showers three years ago because of the lack of sanitation. This is a good gym with lots of machines...MOST working but some sitting idle for weeks on end because they are broken. If Fuel would clean up the facility, it would be a first class gym. As it is, I am heading to Peak Fitness where the gym is much cleaner and neater.

Love the exposed rafters and concrete. I met the owner, very chill guy, he is also the main trainer there. Signed up online and got into the class 10-15 minutes before class was going to start. So I rushed…read morethere with a minute or two to spare. Was super excited to take the class, bought my pilates socks only to be rudely turned away by the guy about to teach the class. There was nothing online saying I needed to be there early if it's my first time at the studio(when I signed up for an intro class pack-should be posted) and I was treated so poorly and without any sympathy I will not be a return client. After online digging, it says theres a mandatory 15 minute intro under "policies". Would have been happy to comply if I'd known, hopefully they fix this for first time clients on the website or have kinder instructors to be given the information from.
