I am new to acupuncture and I've been reluctant to get stuck with needles, so I never went. I decided to try acupuncture for a long run of insomnia I've been experiencing. Kelly Thomas is awesome! She's an incredible listener, she is easy to talk with and offers sage advice. She puts those needles in swiftly and with ease. The whole experience was wonderful every time, and I generally would nap on the table feeling warm under the red light, with nice music playing in the background. I have a back injury that I never fully recovered from and came back full force a month ago. If you have aliments that Western medicine has failed to treat I highly recommend trying Acupuncture and some of the other, "Healing Alternatives" they offer. I had back and neck problems as well as muscle spasms and nerve pain. The standard medical practices of the West did not work, I avoided surgery but tried most everything else. Acupuncture and some of the other treatments like tuning forks and herbs made a substantial difference in my pain level and body's ability to permanently heal. I have been seeing Aubrey for over a year now. This has been my first experience with acupuncture. I needed help with moderate depression and I thought I would try this alternative method. BIG acupuncture fan. Been going to one for years. Moved to SLO in 2016 and was extremely nervous about finding someone as good as mine back home. Both acupuncturists are fabulous! Their styles are different, yet complementary, and they work together really well. They are both gentle, compassionate, caring, and know their stuff. It's super easy to see one if you can't get into the other. In fact, I like to go back and forth between the two-something I was never able to do at my other acupuncturist. And Aubrey usually has Saturday appointments, which is wonderful for busy work schedules.
