I was very unhappy with them. I went in for a consultation you pay $200 for the consultation and they would not put the $200 towards my Botox because I talked about other options. My other option was Blepharoplasty. Dr Chaleskon did the Botox he suggested Botox over the Blepharoplasty I did not see a difference at all I also did a chemical peel with Kelly where they burn your face and it's supposed to peel what happened to me as they burned my face so bad I had welts on it. Ridiculous. I will never go back there. My face never peeled. I felt like I had the worst sunburn in my life. They still have $400 of my money. But don't forget they took $200 for the consultation they wouldn't put it towards my Botox. I've never heard such a thing when you have a consultation you talk to the doctor and you're supposed to find out whats best for you. Avoid at all costs. If your insurance does not pay enough the doctor will abandon the procedure he himself recommended. I returned to office after a year of healing from major surgery to get aesthetic results and was told that the office no longer will be able to perform the aesthetics. They only do the major surgery. Um sorry but this is called patient abandonment and is reported and being investigated. The staff is constantly changing and very condescending. I received Breast Augmentation surgery in 2013. The left breast implant from my 2013 surgery ruptured, and left me with capsular contracture. The implants were covered under warranty. I found a surgeon who I trust to diagnose and then replace both implants. He told me that during the surgery, he had to peel the capsule off my ribs, which is why my rib cage was so painful after the long and detailed surgery. That surgery cost me an extra $$ in the end, due to the unexpected complexity. He was also able to move the scars to the crease under my breast. The keloid scars I had as a result of the original surgery had never gone away, but rather stayed pink and shiny, even after two years of wearing silicone tape and using the scar therapy Chalekson suggested. Part of my dissatisfaction here, is they were on the visible part of my breast, not tucked underneath. I had no luck in reducing the appearance of the scars. It is for mostly this reason that I sought out a different plastic surgeon. I felt it was important to let you know that the implant failed after six years. I had to pay to have a revision on both breasts. I also emailed this to Dr. Chalekson's office and they never replied. I could not recommend him, and I would not return. read more

This review has been a long time coming and words alone cannot express how happy and satisfied I am with the care Dr. Chalekson has provided. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2021 and I came to Dr. Chalekson for a breast reconstruction consultation and since day 1 he made me feel comfortable, heard and most importantly 100% transparent with the pros and cons that come with this type of reconstruction. He also was quick to let me know all my options and that he was more than happy to refer me elsewhere if I wanted to get something done that he wasn't comfortable doing which to me, that showed me he really cares for his patients and he's not just here for the money. After assisting in my DMX in August of 2022, placing expanders, and completing my fills I had breast implants placed that look very natural and not super fake. I didn't need radiation with my breast cancer treatment so that also helped my procedure go much easier. Additionally the staff is always very welcoming and quick to answer any questions, and they really do treat you like family. All insurance claims were handle by Angela who is an Angel! NIGHTMARE I'm an ICU RN I recently moved here from Monterey so I didnt know the reputations of the Drs. Meeting this Dr he & his office was nice but nice doesnt = good work. After speaking to many RNs/Drs around he isn't the choice any would make. 8/19/22 I had surgery to have implants exchanged & scar tissue removed. Dr seemed confident in his ability. When I woke from surgery I had 3 holes in my tongue & layers of skin burned on my stomach where the cautery burned me during surgery. I had a drain in my L. breast d/t the scar tissue removal & the drain was too long because it came around the breast & dug into tissue. My friend who is an ER nurse w/ 35 yrs experience &works at Stanford came down to take care of me. surgery day she was worried because of how much bleeding I had. She does not scare easily. I've had many surgeries in my life but I was so weak & out of it more than any other surgeries. I returned to this doctors office several times in 3 wks d/t the drain causing continuous pain, bleeding & swelling. On 09/06 the Dr told me he was going to remove drain & put a new one. This was a lie & the nightmare began. I go in a room thats not sterile, no one is scrubbed in no gowns/hats No sterile field. I'm thinking that I'm just having a small incision & a new drain. Next thing I know the Dr is dropping my implant into a bowl. I immediately cry & say "I am going to get an infection". The Dr said, "relax you're not at risk for an infection". I would have never agreed to have my implant removed in a nonsterile field. He put me back on Keflex. About 5 days later pus is pouring from my sutures & I notified Eliza. She tells me that its probably not infection. I reminded her I'm a nurse & I know what pus looks like I go to office & ofcourse its an infection. They put me on another week of Keflex. I question because why do the same Antibiotic if it didn't stop the Infection. 3rd week of Keflex. I return Demanding we get a culture to properly treat it. The Dr says he can only get a culture if he makes a small incision& I tell him not to remove my implant. He tells me it's only going to be small. Nope cuts me all the way open & touching all inside of breast. No sterile field. Atleast he didn't take my implant out however he had lied. He put me on a different antibiotic. I return next week he said he didn't have a hard culture result due to some mistake but it come back strep pneumonia.He put me on a different antibiotic for my 5th week. Another week & no success of infection going away. Now my hair is falling out in handfuls, the diarrhea is nonstop from all the antibiotics &the infection is pouring pus from this breast. It finally comes down to the implants have to be removed. This Dr tries to convince me to do it at his office under local anesthesia. I refuse & ask for it to be done at the surgery center & he says no. I ask for it to be done at French hospital where I was working in the ICU and he says no. I asked for my surgery center & he says they won't be able to fit me in there. Thankfully the surgery center I work at was able to move surgeries around &fit me in so the procedure could be done correctly & sterile. I asked to have the capsule removed since I was removing both implants & he refused. I asked for a culture of the capsule then & he said ok. He agreed to this but during surgery didn't do it. Thankfully my surgery center is amazing &everyone rallied around me &was there to support me & kept offering to have the other local plastic surgeon come in to take care of me but I had already paid $13,000 to this Dr &$1500 to the surgery center to have my implants removed I didn't have funds to pay the better surgeon now. Dr must've been mad because the stitching he did is horrible & I haven't seen him since. I've shown two MDs who work at the hospital in which 1 joked "did he let you practice & stitch it yourself" Everyone asked me over &over why I went to him & why I didn't ask them 1st. Being new here &not asking coworkers was my first mistake as I would have gone somewhere else. Don't rush it just to get it done. read more

I am sad to say I have to put one star. I would stay away from Charles Chalekson's office if you can. There aren't many plastic surgeons in the area, but making a longer drive would be worth it. I needed a letter from my psychiatrist to proceed with the surgery. When I spoke with the office, more than one person, including the scheduler, Angela, referred to the content of my psychiatrist's letter (a protected part of my medical record). They were disrespectful of my privacy and threatened to keep almost half of the price of the operation when it was they who decided not to go ahead with the procedure. This should have been a discussion only between me and the surgeon. Instead, the surgeon never spoke to me again and I was forced to plead with the office staff (who should not have even known what my psychiatrist said) to refund my money, when it was the surgeon who decided not to operate. After several phone calls over several weeks, they finally agreed to a refund. I respect that they ended up making the right call refunding my money. But if you have any personally sensitive medical information, I would be afraid anyone in that office could have access to it. That is what my experience was. They never apologized for how poorly they treated me. This review is much nicer than I truly feel. Just stay away and you'll be glad you did. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Chalekson and the whole team he's built here. I've come here for injectables for years. Dr. C does a good job of enhancing your features without making you look overdone or augmented. I went in a while back asking for a trademarked peel I heard of from social media and other outlets. It was the latest craze at the time and when I asked him to do it on me he told me why the better results would come from patiently applying a new daily skin care routine rather than take my money for the peel and letting me do it with unrealistic expectations being pushed by the rest of the world and social media. It's been over a year now and I'm so grateful he told me no. My skin has improved dramatically using the creams he recommended from the ZO by obagi line. My family and friends who I see every few months tell me how much better it looks every time I see them. Judy is the kindest and most professional receptionist you could ask for. Tyler and Nicole are always extremely helpful and super pleasant to work with. They're always checking in to see if I've got everything I need and letting me sample products. I came here for Botox since moving to the area and I came in told the nurse exactly what I did previously along with unit count (I have been getting botox regularly for 6 years now.) She proceeded to tell me what she wanted to do, which was 20 units over what I usually get, so I thought this was absurd and we met at 30 units and she justified how "great and natural" it was going to look. So now a week later I have a green bruise on my right temple that has been since the day after treatment. I also have very hooded eyes, which I stated in the consult, the botox she placed made them so much heavier I have to physically lift my eyebrow to apply makeup on my lids. I called and was very politely saying how displeased I was and they brushed this off and tried to get me to come in and get more botox??? No thank you. Now I am stuck with a botched botox job and some run around from the office. Very professional! read more

From the first referral appointment to my post op appointment I've been so happy with Dr. Chalekson and his sweet staff. I don't think that many people think about how uncomfortable it can be to pull up your shirt and show your huge boobs to a stranger and his assistant. The office is warm and gorgeous. You first sit clothed in a separate room and chat about your feelings... Then on to an exam room. I felt comfortable and he truly listened to me. At 36 years old my arms are going numb from the size of my breasts. I finally couldn't take it anymore! I was so excited when I received the call from the office that insurance approved my procedure. The next time I saw Dr Chalekson he talked about cookies with me. I was super impressed that he remembered I was a baker. This made me feel at ease. Right after my procedure I had a problem with the medication and Dr Chalekson took care of it immediately. I'm now 5 days post op and very happy my results.
