The studio is decorated with a blue palette... cool tones... not sure that was a good idea since IV drips make you cold anyway. But it's comfortable. You sit in huge, plush recliner chairs while the IV drips into your veins. Comfortable. It takes about 30-45 minutes. No real pain or discomfort. I can't say I feel any different than I did before I came in other than when I came in, I was thirsty, and when I left, I wasn't. I peed right before and had to pee again almost immediately after. So I do think it helped with hydration. I think if I were actually sick--a cold, tired, hungover or jet lagged--then I'd feel results. Or at least I'd like to think I would. I was greeted and checked in then taken to the alphasphere room. Its located on the bottom floor and it did feel like a dungeon a little bit. Lol.. When you get to the room its glowing blue and the room is dark. I paid for the 30 minute session. Its a combination of vibrations, music and tones, and they have 4 colors to choose from. You lay in a special chair. At first i couldn't get comfortable. But then i finally dozed off and got relaxed. I chose pink which was a pretty soothing color. I do wish I'd have gotten the hour since i wasted 10 minutes getting into it. A hour may seem long so i feel 45 minutes would be the best because its not over doing it or under doing it. But they only offer 30 mins or 1 hour. Its an experience so if your expecting something special, its not going to knock your socks off but you'll feel peace and calm... Now the downside!! Theres a sound proof pad over the door because its supposed to be quiet, but it wasn't. Lol. I heard every conversation of people walking by, doors opening and closing, and etc.. The room is very quiet but just outside is all the noise!! So thats another reason it took time to get comfortable. I would try it again though. It was enjoyable. My massage therapist (Bridgitt) was very friendly and had a fun vibe. She helped me relax. She focused on my problem areas and we had good conversation. The facial was nice, it left my face feeling refreshed. Keep in mind this is a basic facial with hot towels and a face mask nothing extensive like blackhead removal, exfoliation, or anything like that. But still enjoyable.
