What a disappointment. Called on a Tuesday, left a message. Was called back with in the hour. Explained needing 2 appointments for MFH and I. Was told I could have 1 at 430 the other at 5. Perfect. Explained I was walking my dogs, if there was an issue I would call back to cancel. Thanked her and hung up. Called back a couple of minutes later to ask the price for the consultation and treatment. I am a licensed Esthetician Instructor and recently added Massage Therapy to my repirotore. The new owners were ever accommodating to my educational and hands on practical needs. Love this place!! Several years ago I relocated to Avondale and needed an acupuncturist. I searched high and low for the best deal, reviews, and location. After I made many calls I stumbled upon Healing Edge. The receptionist was very warm and had me feeling comfortable almost immediately. She took the time to answer all of my questions, explained the paperwork and process, and scheduled me with Donna Combs. I have been a patient at Healing Edge for a few years now. Donna is still my Chinese Herbalist/Acupuncturist and she is incredible! She has treated me mainly for my asthma, allergies, back/body pain, migraines & tension headaches. All forms of Western medicine have failed me in the last few years, but this WORKS! My plan of care that Donna has put into place has helped me more than anything else has. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the price. I've been to much cheaper acupuncture clinics in other states but I was really struggling with a list of problems including mental health, hormone issues, digestive problems, pain, you name it.. so I gave it a shot and I'm so happy I did. It's well worth the money! I never feel as relaxed as I do when I'm getting acupuncture. I've only been going for a month and a half and I am seeing positive changes! The one thing I'll say is you have to be consistent, that's what has made the impact for me. I was able to schedule a same day appointment for my 80 y.o. mother who has severe knee pain from a torn tendon and suffers from non-diabetic neuropathy. While Dr. Toni was not available, her assistant Suzanne took great care of her and made her very comfortable. After the first visit, she was able to bend her knee further than she has been able to in years. Also, she was able to move all of her toes and felt more relaxed and comfortable than she has been in at least 10 years. In addition, she has problems with water retention and weight issues, which are also being addressed. In addition to her follow-up treatment next week, I'll be going week for my tight back and tinnitus. But, we highly recommend them to anyone where traditional treatment or medication has not worked. I feel like a new person after only one treatment. I was having low back pain which radiates down into my hip/buttocks, back of leg into the knee, down my calf into my ankle. Needless to say OUCH! I looked up acupuncture (if you've never tried it -DO IT-you have nothing to lose but the pain) and found Healing Edge. Candace worked on me. She was thorough, asked questions, did a full evaluation, and actually listened to me. She also gave me tips on pressure points to help my sons sensory issues. I went here after being advised to start blood thinners for migraines. I was skeptical, but this seemed like a last resort. After one consecutive month (2x's/week) my migraines went from 10 severe a month to 3-4. I have been going to Healing Edge now for 2 years, and I haven't had a migraine in over a year. I haven't been to a doctor since my treatments started. Overall, the therapy has proved to be life changing. To anyone who is skeptical, I'd say, go for it! You have to be patient and allow time for treatments to take effect, but now I only do maintenance, once a month. I can't say enough about this place or about acupuncture therapy. read more

My experience at Healing Edge, has been phenomenal! I went in a little skeptical about acupuncture, as I have never tried it before. I have been suffering from kidney stones and arthritis. Just after one session, my arthritis completely cleared up! After the second session, I quickly and easily passed a kidney stone. I have had several massages with Page and several acupunture sessions with Suzana. Both types of sessions have been healing, relaxing, and beneficial to me. I am sleeping better.
