I've come across over 50 therapists since childhood... and the ones at Holistic Elements really do their best and beyond. They do not allow fluorescent lighting (for ambience and calming reasons) so they have it set up in the waiting room, front desk and therapy rooms with window lighting, lamps, waterfalls, tranquil music, snacks and drinks for every visit, blankets, pillows, soft couches, an amazing selection of outstanding therapists, very kind and caring front desk workers... my therapist, Heidi, is absolutely wonderful, to the point, in depth, understanding, and very genuine. Many, if not all, these therapists, have some sort of fidget toys, stuffed animals or art related items to utilize while in a session. My couples therapist, Krista, is incredibly smart, genuine, fun and helpful. I go in twice a week due to couples and individual therapy, so I know how it is first hand, so of course I highly recommend this place to so many people. They take in all ages and genuinely care about your well being. Please consider doing therapy here. There's so many different therapists to choose from too!

We had a very concerning experience with Summit Counseling while our minor child was receiving…read moretherapy services. As parents who still retain our parental rights, we attempted to participate appropriately in our child's care and treatment planning. However, communication with us as legal parents was refused even in a limited capacity allowed under Utah law. This made it extremely difficult to stay informed about our child's therapeutic progress. We were also informed that therapy sessions billed under our child's Medicaid coverage focused on concerns raised by the placement caregiver rather than our child's own treatment goals. Our child had expressed reunification as an important goal, yet that goal was not reflected in therapy direction. Parents should expect therapy providers working with minors to remain neutral, patient-centered, and willing to communicate appropriately with legal parents unless a court specifically restricts that involvement. That was not our experience. We are sharing this so other families understand the importance of asking how parental participation is handled when a child is in placement and receiving counseling services.

My son has been without his medication for two weeks and always an excuse for poor communication and poorly run organization. Even my pharmacy acknowledged zero response after several attempts. A provider leaves and makes promises to refill meds until they find a replacement with zero response and excuses from a receptionist that has no idea what is going on. Your child gets the whiplash from this poorly run behavioral institution! Any pediatrician can manage better than this place! What an embarrassment! Not even a real psychiatrist to manage things!

I have always received same day or next day appointments for any non-routine medical need. All visits have started on time and I've never felt rushed. His office staff are polished, professional, and attentive. I greatly appreciate that Dr. Gay's office has an on-site lab (massive time saver). I also appreciate the patient portal where you can make appointments, view your lab results, view your prescriptions, ask questions, etc. On two separate occasions, Dr. Gay needed to refer me to a specialist. Both times he pulled out his phone and called the specialist's office right then. Not only was I floored that he personally made the call, but he also arranged appointments for that day! One of the occasions was more urgent and Dr. Gay and the specialist communicated back and forth several times before I was admitted to the hospital. Dr. Gay even called me directly to ensure that I got to the hospital. Dr. Gay has proven to me that he truly cares about me as a patient and as an individual.

recently I could not attend my appt, bc of this I paid an out of pocket fee of $100 that's totally…read moreunderstandable...Moving forward, I call to schedule my next appointment after I payed said no show fee only to have the front desk reveal that i can no longer schedule treatment in advance. I will now only be able to access scheduling on the same day. This is practically impossible and not to mention inconvenient. I feel frustrated and mostly confused since I have never received a written nor verbal warning being notified regarding why I would be denied. They have now disclosed any time you cancel appt. Regardless if it's several days in advance or if it's to only to reschedule, it will still go towards your total three no shows, resulting in denial for booking future treatment. Overall I'm disappointed in the communication to better disclose policy's. I've noticed this company doesn't care about a patients experience rather than getting paid. I've had treatment at this clinic that was amazing and some that were horrible but continue to rebook bc I found one provider in the clinic that gives their patients full service and attention compared to other that rush or they will sit on the computer for more than half of the appt only leaving maybe 15 min of actually receiving a treatment.

I emailed your company yesterday, and I got a call back almost immediately, the lady I spoke with…read moreyesterday was so kind and understanding about my situation, I mean she was super sweet, the entire conversation..and she told me your company would love to help me and that she had spoken with the director and everything looked good, and that they just wanted to cover the insurance bases, and told me she would check to see if my insurance covered what I needed (in home mental health therapist on occasion) and if my insurance didn't cover it or didn't cover all of it, she said I would get a call back to go over fee schedules and how often I can be seen and such.. I hung up feeling nervous but happy that I would finally be getting the help that I need. And then I get a call today from a completely different person (made me feel as though she was talking down to me, complete 180 from the lady I spoke with yesterday) claiming that you guys don't deal with Medicare at all, she asked if I had other insurance and since I don't, that was the end of the conversation, and she wouldn't even go over any other cash payment options.. Maybe people like me who are mentally ill wouldn't be so sick if there were more companies out there that were willing to help us out. How dare you assume that I can't pay cash so you just won't work with me. I guess it's better that I don't deal with a company like that anyways. Thank you for making a bad day that much worse. And thanks again for absolutely NOTHING. I will be leaving feedback on every networking sight that I can to get the word out that your company only cares about children with problems and the adults like myself, who genuinely need help too, can just rot apparently (their website also states they work with adults too, not just children, AND in my original form I sent in, I explained that I'm a 37 year old woman)... Also, it states right on your website that you take both Medicaid and MEDICARE. Which I have Medicare, and it also states you offer in home services... So maybe rather than lying to people on your site, take that information down instead of giving people false hope that they might actually get the help they need!
