He encourages the patient's treatment plan and checks in on the progress of medications that may have been prescribed by the patient's PCP or Psychiatrist. His website has a ton of useful resources and information too. What I've liked the most is he really hears what the patient is saying, what concerns they have, shares in successes, and is an advocate for the patient. When I reached out to her to try to be a part of my son therapy, she told me, "your son does not want you to be a part of the therapy". I was experiencing "parental alienation" and she was in support of the alienation! I called her all of the times over a year and half, but she wrote a letter to the court stating that I never called. When I produced phone records that is when she called me to tell me that my son did not want me to be a part of his therapy. Three years later it has been discovered that my child was being severely abused by his father and she is nowhere to be found!!! She needs to lose her license... If I could give her a zero I WOULD!!!
