I live in Seattle and was coming to care and assist my mom and dad with the most recent diagnosis. I wanted to schedule a massage for him so he could take an hour and just relax and refresh his spirit and mind. I called around to most of the local massage places in Rockford yet no one would return my call or they said that they could not accommodate my dad. Luckily I found out about Diane and In the Spirit of Health from Northern Illinois Hospice. Diane was the perfect combination of professional and compassionate. I told her about my dads medical issues and she designed her massage around his specific requirements. She arrived with a fantastic smile that set us all at ease, and she continued her graceful approach creating a healthy relaxing environment. Needless to say my dad spent the next hour in bliss, he was able to put aside the mental stress of terminal cancer and truly enjoy himself and relax. Its amazing that Diane was able to give him (and our family) a mental vacation like that. Its been 4 hours since hes had the massage and he is still gushing about it, also it energized him so we could get out of the house for an afternoon coffee and lunch (this is a big deal to us since he has been immobile for so long!).
