I have seen various chiro's for about ten years, and was suspecting that I had traced my issue back to my upper neck. I was in the area for a short term work assignment, and looking to maintain care, and instead took a huge step forward in my personal wellness. I was able to make the fairly focused office hours work despite my limited flexiblity, and the first adjustment from Dr. Lennarz on my C1 led to a profound experience. His thoroughness and precision were greatly appreciated, and made the brief followup appointments well worth it. Unlike other chiro's, who I think build their biz model on a couple of years of adjustments per patient, Health First has a front loaded cost structure, so you are definitely paying out of pocket for your care. Fortunately my insurance covered insurance, even out of state, and I was able to recoup a significant part of my expenses. It was totally worth it for me, however, as it has truly set me on the path of personal wellness. I am back in my home state, seeing another Blair practitioner, as well as other musculoskeletal specialists, to assist with my ongoing reset of my alignment after many years of subtle but impactful mis-alignment. I hope to be a fully functioning person by the end of the summer, which is a pretty amazing 9 month turnaround after many many years of wellness investment. Dr. Lennarz is the real deal, and if you also suspect that your upper neck is driving a lot of your issues, you can't really do better. He did have some significant front office staff turnover at this location while I was there, that made for some complicated interactions and appointment bookings, but with a positive mental attitude we worked it out. I absolutely highly recommend Dr. Lenarz. It is a bit of an investment, but it's well worth it. I suffered with neck pain for years and went to various chiropractors that could never fix it. A neighbor recommended him to me and warned me that there was a bit of an expense at first, but it was well worth it and to hang in there. I was willing to try anything to get rid of this pain. Basically he's training your spine to be in the right position so you don't experience pain. His adjustments are done with only the neck area. He doesn't twist you all over the place like a regular chiropractor does. However, he is not a regular chiropractor. He's considered one of the best in his field. I even sent one of my friends to him that has a rod in her back, and she was extremely pleased that he was able to give her some relief from her pain. If you're tired of pain and want to experience a life without that nagging back pain. I would totally recommend this place. read more

Dr. Lennarz had helped me tremendously. I have to admit I've always been a chiropractic skeptic, but things got bad enough that I was willing to give it a shot. The first few visits didn't do much to cure my) skepticism either... the Blair method involves precise adjustments that don't feel like anything happened. But after the first week, I started to experience a mental clarity I haven't had for years, and then the pain started to subside. And its just continued to get better since. I had a few problems with other joints, plantar fasciitis in my foot and chronic pain in my elbow that wasn't helped by the neck adjustments. When Dr. Rivers joined the practice, he popped my elbow and heel right into place and the pain vanished the next day. I would absolutely not recommend this business. I was pressured into getting xray's after multiple times of saying no, that I would like to talk to my other half before making a choice. When I was forced into getting the xray's the doctor did not leave the room when asked to remove items that would interfere with the xray. I was referred to this office for a free first visit and evaluation. I know have a bill sitting in front of me. read more

I am a firm believer that different methods of chiropractic work for different people. I have tried other methods and had instant relief but not long lasting results, which meant I was going once a week or more, just to feel normal! Nothing was really getting better. I still had frequent back pain, headaches, and numbness. I really feel like health first got to the root of my problems and fixed me. After a couple months of weekly visits I was able to start going less and less often and now I only go about once a month to make sure my head "is on straight" and I have never felt better! Upper Cervical Chiropractic is nothing short of a miracle in my opinion. After YEARS of suffering intense pain, I have a monthly treatment and now lead a pretty pain free life! I was involved in a car accident several years ago. I had gone to a chiro who wanted me to come several times a week. It ate up all my coverage quickly, and did not help in the least. A friend at a yoga class referred me to Health First. At my first adjustment, I got relief! My headache was gone, my eyesight became clear, my brain wasn't fuzzy, and no more pain. I've been a patient for approximately one year. It's been amazing to be pain free after over 30 years of aching and being told it's in my head or fibromyalgia. If reference to Chrystan feeling pressured into getting xrays... If she didn't want the service she could have said no and left. However, in order for treatment (and relief) xrays were and are necessary. The only thing I miss is that Dr Adam is no longer here. read more
