I stepped into the spa for a lash lift tint on day two of my migraine. I wasn't going in for a massage, or anything relaxing, so I wasn't expecting the migraine to go away. I arrived to my appointment 10-15 minutes early and was warmly greeted with a delicious hot cup of stress tea, and whisked away into the cozy waiting area. The chairs were super comfortable... there's something about the atmosphere here too... The sound of flowing water and calming ambient sounds was so relaxing. I kicked my feet up, sank back into the chair, sipped on my tea and read the book about aromatherapy that was perched on the side table. I was a little disappointed when the esthetician, Naomi, greeted me and told me she was ready because I normally feel tense getting this procedure done and the waiting area was so relaxing. But, you guys! Naomi did such a great job and was so calming and the room so relaxing (preheated, comfy bed!)! I'm pretty sure I fell asleep somehow during the 40 minutes! That never happens! My lashes turned out amazingly btw! Lots of lift and nice and dark... but it was the experience that really put this over the top for me. I felt soo pampered. Really disappointed in Bella Soul Spa in Burlington. I prefer to get massages every two weeks bc of my job and need for massage therapy. I was rescheduled over a month ago bc the massage therapist I was seeing quit. Which I was understanding of. Found a new therapist who was wonderful but difficult to get in with. I missed my appt only bc I thought it was a few hours later in the day and was charged $185 for not making my appt which I had every intention on going to. I will sadly not be returning to this spa for their lack of understanding to a loyal client who also regularly buys products. Will also be telling my dental Hygienest friends as well. read more

I love this little spa in Burlington. I came here quite often for massages for an insurance claim, then for my prenatal massages and now for any reason I can think of. There massages are heavenly and extremely relaxing. The staff is very respectful, courteous and helpful. They usually offer great holiday packages as well. They carry wonderful health products and skin care treatments. I've been hooked on the Naturopathica skin care line they carry that is all natural and organic. I had a facial done here once and I could not believe how soft and alive my face/skin felt. They used Naturopathica facial products on me and I left with everything they had used on me! read more

Bella Soul Spa, what an amazing, peaceful, rejuvenating place to be. There are so many words I can say about this place. I go here often and I've received the package deal on the chemical PCA peel facial, nourish facial (multiple sessions) also don't forget to add in dermaplaning it's one of my favorites. I've had the microcurrent treatment and other treatments such as the foot detox and a massage that will melt that tension away. Also try out their infrared cocoon, I loved it! I have many of the products they sell there, highly recommend everything. I can't say enough about this place. The staff here at Bella Soul are kind, very helpful with any questions you have. Booked online for a time after they are "closed". Arrived and the door was locked. Tried to call but no one answered. I stayed until my appointment time and glad I did! Ashley unlocked the door when she finished with her previous client. The aroma therapy before and after were perfect. Ashley listened to the issues I was having and I was able to relax so much that I fell asleep. It has been a very long time since I've fallen asleep during a massage. Just had the best experience!! I am a plumber, I came in experiencing pain in my shoulder and neck. After a 60 min deep tissue massage my pain was non existent. Last week, I had a brow wax, brow and lash tint with Assunta. I have had my brows waxed before, but this was the best wax I have ever had. This spot is fabulous compared to other spas in its area. The front desk woman Janet is an absolutely gem and truly makes the experience at this place. I came in with a friend to buy a package for our bride to be and Janet gave us so much information and guidance on all the products and services they offer. She multitasked checking clients in while helping us and never made us feel like a burden. Our bride also reported back that she also had a phenomenal experience when recovering her summer spa package and that she would definitely be back before leaving Washington. I had my visit on 7.3.2017 My therapist was Atalie Slone I heard good things about this spa but my experience wasn't great here's why... I was in town to visit friends, sleeping on a couch will definitely kink up your back so I had a visit to BELLA SOUL SPA My therapist greeted me with a soft handshake took me to the treatment room asked basic intake questions but didn't seem to take in the words I was saying because when the time came to get a massage from her none of my requests were met. I asked for firm pressure with trigger point work when needed. I received effleurage (light, rub the lotion on the skin pressure) the entire session. Atalie kept bumping into bony landmarks which is the first thing you learn to avoid going to massage school. When she did decide to give me deep pressure, out of no where, it was one time for about 10 seconds with an elbow into my trap. Typically you warm the muscles up then work deeper, Atalie hasn't learned that one yet apparently in her 3 years of being a massage practitioner. The only good thing I can say about her is that she's quiet. She's not one to talk through an entire session. so quiet though she didn't ever check in with me about pressure. Some of you may ask "why didn't you as a client/therapist speak up about pressure" my answer to that is my job as a client is to relax when on the table,this is my one one to check out of all responsibilities and just relax. A massage therapist job is to make sure everything is going well and to check in at least once. Considering how she went "HAM" on my trap I knew she wasn't going to make her firm efforts gracefully. I get 90 minutes to make sure the LMT has enough time on my back and I ask for very little on limbs. I didn't get that, therefore my LMT didn't LISTEN to my needs and I left highly unsatisfied. To add to the problem the manager Ingrid Thorton took days to contact me after I had complained to the front desk. Considering its vacation time around the 4th I understand that. I had my massage on the 3rd my call from Ingrid came on the 6th I had missed the call and she had left a message regarding a typical "sorry it didn't go your way let me offer you a 15% off your next visit..... 15% off a $110 massage..... I called back twice left a message once and didn't get a call back until the 11th (today) Today I'm already out of Washington state, the time Ingrid had to fix the problem has now passed. So bottom line is Ingrid isn't worried about customer service and fixing the clients problem, she's worried about the dollar. Why in the world would I return to a spa to receive another massage at a discounted price of 15% when you should be giving a re-try for free when the service is so bad?? If you're so confident in your massage therapists and spa this wouldn't be a problem. It's what I would do at my business but then again I've never had complains. At the very least return my money, $110 just got thrown into your business when I believe it wasn't worth even half that for what I received. read more

I was gifted a gift card to the Bella Soul for my birthday and had a 90 minute massage with Trevor. It was phenomenal! Trevor was nothing professional and listened to my concerns. My massage was amazing. My only critique is that the walls at Bella Soul are paper thin and you can easily hear conversations outside of the room. However, The staff do keep there voices low, and there are signs encouraging soft voices. It would also be amazing if they had a steam room and sauna. That being said, It's so nice to be able to go to the spa without driving to Whatcom county. I will be back for sure. read more

I wasn't happy with my most recent experience here. I asked for full body massage and did not get that , only got the upper body . I felt I couldn't talk or communicate with this particular therapist because well it was clear she didn't want to be talked to. It made me feel uneasy and not very comfortable. It was not a pleasant experience . I will try someone else next time. It's a lot of money to spend for an unpleasant , awkward experience. :( Some professional people go out of their way to show kindness , warmth , a welcoming feeling and those are the experiences I cherish and remember with a smile. The lime scalp massage smells amazing and feels so good , and foot detox with yummy herbal tea are one of my favorite things to do there! ! The staff has always been very accommodating and friendly. I really can't believe I went here and specifically asked for deep pressure and let them know how important it was I got deep and I got the lightest pressure massage I've ever had. It's such A huge dissapointment to be ready for something your really needing & to only get some light touch and not to mention the cost and the large amount of money wasted.
