The funny thing is I called and no one answered the phone so I left a message with no call back so I just showed up and they were able to take me in right away. But...unlike most Asian places, they tried to push me for thirty minutes but I wanted an hour so they agreed. Then I asked if they had ninety minutes available and I was told no. Usually at the other Asian places I go to they are trying to push you for more time. I guess it's different here in Redding. Shrug. I checked-in on Yelp and got the 10% off. Yay! Not the best and not the worst--I would rank it toward the better side except she kept resting her palm on my back and arm and I hate that because it's unnecessary bad pressure. Otherwise quite decent. Oh, the other thing that annoyed me was asking for payment upfront. Maybe that is the norm here but I am not used to that. That's why I docked a star. I wouldn't mind going again if I was in the area again:)

Both of the massage treatments were professional and were extremely effective in releasing my overly tight muscles. Their space is clean, comfortable, and inviting. There was soothing music playing in the background and ample room for multiple kinds of therapies. The flowers placed upon each treatment table were an unexpected but very nice touch indeed! She is constantly pursuing education to learn new techniques to help her clients. Many industry professionals will not do that! Leslee is a rare person with a beautiful soul. She actually does a very good massage ( not the best ever but better than average). I was a client for about 3 years. The last time I went to her she showed me some colors that weren't very pretty. I will admit I was late for my appointment more than once. I don't blame her for her frustration with me and I accept that she didn't want me as a client anymore. I own my part in what took place. She was quite upset with me when I arrived and definitely didn't hesitate to tell me exactly how she felt. I don't blame her at all for being upset.... it was her delivery that was unacceptable for me. It was actually quite traumatizing. I also feel a responsibility to share that she would occasionally talk crap to me about some of her clients while treating me. She always had her list of people she was "no longer" going to allow to be her clients. So, in hindsight, I'm not surprised she lost her cool with me. The things she would tell me about some of her clients never set well with me. Very unprofessional, in my eyes, at least. I'm not trying to sabotage her but I felt that I needed to share my experience. As humans we are all flawed, and I am sorry for my part in whatever it is you want to call this. Kindness always lives in my heart as I know it does in Leslee's as well. I'm boiling this down to a learning experience
