One hour before my appointment, I received a voicemail stating they needed "more information" about my service dog. When I returned the call, the receptionist incorrectly claimed that only "emotional support animals" were not allowed (I never said my service animal was an ESA). She then demanded that I bring in documentation or proof that my dog is a service animal, which is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Under federal law, businesses are not allowed to ask for documentation, certification, or proof of a service animal. They may only ask two questions: Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? What task has the dog been trained to perform? I politely informed them that their request was illegal, yet instead of correcting their mistake, they canceled my appointment on the spot. When I asked for the receptionist's name to document this incident, she hung up on me. Denying access to a legitimate service animal is discrimination and a violation of federal law. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Department of Justice and ADA enforcement authorities regarding this incident. If you are a person with a disability who relies on a service animal, I strongly caution you before booking here. Any business that refuses to follow federal law and treats customers this way should be held accountable.

Upon walking in today I was greeted and welcomed. The facility is clean, open, quiet, and calm. The staff was great. Raymond was my therapist and I cannot say enough good things about him if you are looking for a deep tissue massage. I decided to add on the Eucalyptus aromatherapy, it was a gloomy day and I am a sucker for Eucalyptus. I am glad I chose that as an add on, it was perfect. The massage room was open, comfortable, and so relaxing. The massage table was so cozy, plus, big, and warm. It really felt like a spa in there. I loved the lighting, the sounds, and just the all around small touches that made everything so relaxing and calm. I am excited to try the other enhancements they have to offer as well as other treatments. The price was what you'd expect for the Kiawah-Seabrook area, but it's well worth it in my opinion.
