I've been going here for about a year now so I feel like I can talk about my experiences. Luv Yu Foot Massage is located in a tiny strip mall with a parking lot. I have always called to make an appointment since they do get pretty booked. The foot massage area which consists of 6 large leather chairs are separated by beaded curtains. The body massage rooms are in the back, double room or single room. The double room has a curtain if you want to be separated from the person you are with. Foot Massage: Soak your feet, massage your shoulders, neck, and back then massage your feet and legs. Body Massage: Undress, massage whole body, this will feel a bit intrusive, your butt will get massage. (I always call and ask for a woman.) The downside is the language barrier and the noise, from customers going in and out , the curtains, phone ringing. My husband and I come here often. We bought the package deal/card which is buy 4 massages, get the 5th free. For a foot massage, it comes down to $25.60/hr a massage instead of $30/hr and the body massage is $42/hr instead of $45/hr. The nice thing about the card is multiple people can use it. We did this when family came to visit. Overall, I recommend Luv Yu Foot Massage for a no frills massage. It is inexpensive and clean.

If you're looking for a high-end spa experience, this place may not be for you, but if you need a back massage and don't mind a no-frills environment, I think they do a very good job. The individual booths are private. The massage itself is based on Eastern reflexology so it is different than a standard Swedish massage you may find elsewhere, but the technique still left me feeling relaxed and my back pain lessened after a 60 min massage. I'd like to go back soon to try out their foot massage as well. Edited to add that their prices have changed since past reviews. I paid $60 for the 60 minute back massage and there is 8% tax if you pay with card, but that's still a great price for an hour massage in this area.

As I was completing my customer form on the provided iPads, I was able to experience the vibrating foot machine. It was a nice touch while I was waiting my turn for the chair experience. It helped me relax and get into the mood right away. When it was my turn, I was taken to the back room, which was even more relaxing. It was dimly lit with a beautiful waterfall towards the back wall and private massage rooms throughout. My massage room had the chair and space for me to place my personal items. It also had an air purifier, which I appreciated, as I am very sensitive to dust. The massage chair can seem quite intimidating when you first look at it, but the staff was very helpful in explaining exactly what it does to ease any apprehension. They were also very good about answering all of my questions! The massage experience itself was very pleasant and relaxing. It moves you forward, then tilts you slightly backward for a zero G feeling. Then it calibrates to your size and begins the massage. It does your feet, legs, bottom, back, head, neck and arms. Massages take about 20 minutes. I chose the light setting and that was perfect for me. My upper shoulders always get very tight in this massage help loosen them. I felt relaxed and renewed when it was done. This concept is perfect. If you're looking for a quick, quality massage that won't take up too much of your time. While other places are booked far in advance, they always had someone ready at short notice. I had a prenatal massage with Helen. I walked in from WGCA next door and scheduled the appointment directly with her, as she was behind the desk. She was nice, but I didn't wish to rebook with her because I felt like during the massage she lectured me quite a bit about things that I knew already about pregnancy (not using oils, what to eat, etc.) This was pretty much a personality mismatch, I think, so didn't leave a mediocre review at the time. What did encourage me to leave feedback was more recent when I was scheduled for another prenatal massage. When I scheduled the appointment, the service was friendly, but it was a little complicated. She had to pencil me in, then call a couple therapists, and then call me back to confirm. No big deal, but kind of weird. When I showed up for my appointment, the therapist wasn't certified to preform prenatal massages. He was very nice about it and we rescheduled with someone he knew was certified. However, when I had to call to reschedule that appointment (next business day) I was met with rude, short service. Rather than reschedule, I just decided to cancel. I hope others have better experiences. Really, 99% of my staff interactions have been nice, but it seems like maybe they just don't have it all together.
