Great clinic with helpful staff. I've been going there for a year now and have never had long waits or bad service.

They have been seen AND HEARD by caring, knowledgeable, professional people who are taking the time to educate and help them deal with extremely personal sexualty issues. I do not know all the technical terms but I CAN tell you that after a 17 year battle with many other less sensitive healthcare professionals my child is now becoming happier, more confident, and a mentally healthier individual. My child's patner is also seen here because she has an extreme reaction to needles. Family Tree is the only resource (after 7 other facilities) to supply the accommodation necessary for her anxiety control so a blood draw could be accomplished. The clinic has gone beyond any normal standard of care. Lastly, when visiting, I appreciate the calm attitudes, the unique waiting room, and the educational materials available. It is a SAFE PLACE for all.

Was sent here for additional care following a work injury…read more Location: It's easy to get to driving as well as by light rail. They have parking and there's also ample free street parking. Space: It's clean. In my 4 visits it was never crowded so being seen on time (by doctor or physical therapist) was never an issue. Only twice did I have an issue and it was because they needed to verify info with my insurance (not their fault), but annoying because the first time I had to wait an hour so it could be straightened out and the second time, they called before my appointment and had to reschedule. Service: With the exception of the Sr. Physical Therapist, there was a lack of professionalism. The PT was kind, helpful and took my concerns seriously. I found the doctor to be abrasive and dismissive. His interactions came off as if he was being bothered. He also had a habit of walking into the room without knocking. To be honest I referred to him as the C- doctor, b/c of his poor service and treatment. For example previous paper work was sent to them...he stated more than once, I have to read all these pages, Why are there so many pages... I saw no need for him to keep stressing it to me. At another point, I described to him where on my hip the pain subsided and his recommendations was to wear looser underwear. WTF....it's like he was plucked from the bottom of the barrel. As for the receptionist and one nurse, the were polite, but intense and defensive respectively. I can go on and on! While yes the wait time is very short to their always being empty I wouldn't recommend them to someone I know for the reasons mentioned (and not mentioned).

The registration process was fairly seamless, and the doctors were kind and focused on my children's experience. When we took my youngest child, it was a little bumpy, or than when we took my oldest last night. However, in both instances, the doctors were beyond excellent. The nurses were kind and responsive as well, but the bedside manner of the doctors was what stood out this trip. One concern I do want to notice is that there seems to be a glitch in their medication ordering system, which did not permit the nurse to get the medication needed within a timely manner. Apparently, this has been going on for days and the health staff have brought this forward for internal review multiple times. I hope this gets fixed as it does. Sit back there a patient's healing process when medical providers have to wait for medication.

It looks like a swank hotel (but still smells like the doctor's office). Besides the awesome bathrooms with neato tiles, they have huge hallways, non-80s art, and some sweet medical-techno gadgets on site. I'm really disappointed in my experience. I thought I was getting a good home clinic with my new…read moreinsurance because of the location and the previous reviews . Dr. Van Dyck was very rushed, giggled maniacally when he shared with me he is an introvert and only drinks his tea at home (I'm thinking to myself: "Good. Because if you had caffeine you would be a complete freak"). Like I should care? WHY are you wasting MY precious 20 minutes of time -- that you keep reminding me we are running out of whenever I ask you for your advice about something -- shooting the breeze with me and sharing all this info about yourself as if I would care? Why are you telling me about your wife? And your kids? You are the caregiver, I am the patient. My precious 20 minutes is about my health, not your personal life. Both he and his assistant Emily snickered any time they mentioned me having a very unpleasant but highly recommended diagnostic exam done -- which I thought was really unprofessional. I finally had to ask "Why are you both snickering when you say this? How is telling me I should have it done funny?" You're supposedly educated health care professionals, not 12-year-olds. It makes me extremely uneasy that the people I am putting in charge of my health care and medical records are snickering about any health-related issues I may have. Unless of course, these are not health care professionals, but health care CLOWNS. What else are they snickering about? Are they snickering about you and your health too? In his anxiety-fueled haste, the Dr. glossed over a pretty serious acute and excruciatingly painful issue I'm having because, as he blamed the insurance, "It was not in line with what is done in a checkup as insurance defines it" -- so I am going to have to end up going to the emergency room, which is then going to cost the insurance company a lot more to cover. He even did "examine" a body part related to what I have going on, but it took a visit to my chiropractor to notice that I had a tremendous amount of inflammation around my ear and lymph nodes. How could this Dr actually have even looked at the area after I told him I was in excruciating pain and not seen anything, when my chiropractor noticed right away? I felt the clinic was overall not good for anything except referrals. They were on time and everything moved along quickly, but it was really sloppy & unprofessional. And I think this Dr. needs to work on his own mindfulness and stress management skills. I've been to plenty of other medical professionals and no, they don't all act like this. If you know you are giving inferior care and you're going to use the excuse that the system won't let you give the quality of care you want to, then put some energy into changing the frickin' system, you fool. Or go into another profession because -- and I don't care what medical school you went to -- you are clearly not good at, nor passionate, about being a physician. The most I will use this doctor for is to get referrals to someone who can actually do something.

The visit lasted under 10 minutes, and from the start, her demeanor felt impersonal--almost as if she was burnt out or simply going through the motions. While I understand dieticians often begin by asking why you're there, the way she posed the question felt abrupt and uncomfortable, setting the tone for the rest of the appointment. I had hoped to get personalized guidance on managing the final stage of my weight loss journey and support in building long-term healthy habits. Instead, any question I asked was met with silence, followed by her handing me a printed flier and asking if I needed anything else. I walked out with three generic handouts and no meaningful discussion or direction--something I easily could've found on the internet myself. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at HealthPartners, and unfortunately, it's the second time I've had a poor interaction with a dietician through this system. I don't know if it's me, or just bad luck, but this appointment left me feeling more confused and unsupported than when I arrived. Maybe she was having a rough day--everyone does--but it's hard to tell when there's no engagement at all. I would not recommend Joy O'Donnell based on this experience. If you're looking for compassionate, personalized dietary support, I suggest looking elsewhere.
