This office is very slow and seems to OVER book. Waiting 45 minutes for an appointment is totally unacceptable.

I highly recommend this practice and there's nothing better than having all your doctors and a lab all in the same location to make your life easier.

The receptionist who handles the phone and faxes is abhorrent. Imagine being the front line for a place that is supposed to issue care and being a short-mouthed drone devoid of any emotion. I've called to verify my referral for cardiology so that I may get answers in what is going on with my heart, but she keeps claiming that no fax has come through. She said that yesterday, but in fact the fax had come through because they sent a response back to my ND needing clarification on something. She responded back at 3pm yesterday. When I called to confirm today, she immediately said no, I informed her I verified with my ND and mentioned the back and forth yesterday and she still said she didn't have them, that she manned all the faxes so she would know. Firstly, lose the attitude. Maybe you made a mistake, you're not going to take 3 seconds to double check? SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED and work in a job where she doesn't deal with people. **Editing to add: Two stars given back for the OTHER receptionist I talked to that helped me to figure out what actually happened with the fax, rather than just write me off. They need more of you.

After a week of experiencing severe pain in my left ankle area I finally decided to go deal with…read morethe long wait times at the emergency department and went to Valley medical ER. I waited for over two hours to be taken back to a room. Once I was finally in the room, I was tended rather quickly. After being evaluated, an x-ray technician came into my room and rather quickly took a few X-rays of my ankle area. Next an ultrasound technician came in to check and eliminate the possibility of it being a blood clot. The doctor came back into the room and told me that x-ray and ultrasound came back good and that they could see nothing wrong with my leg or ankle. He gave me a prescription for antibiotics and told me to go home and take the antibiotics because it must be an infection. Although I didn't believe it to be an infection I followed the doctors orders and begin taking the antibiotics. After five days of taking the antibiotics, I was still in a lot of pain and the swelling had not gone down at all, so I went back to the ER at Valley Medical Center. This time there was nobody in the waiting room. I was taken back approximately half an hour after checking in and this time they took me to the very back of the emergency room department and sat me on a bed in the hallway with no privacy, and what I think either to be the lunchroom or an exit for employees next-door to me. So there was a constant trail of hospital employees passing by me back-and-forth. I sat in this hallway, waiting for a doctor to come and see me for about another hour. I didn't even know this area existed in this hospital because I don't believe normally anyone is taken back to this area. Mind you there was nobody in the emergency department at this time as far as patients go. When the doctor finally came to see me, he basically dismissed everything that I was explaining to him and told me to go home and continue to take the antibiotics and elevate my leg. At this time, he also gave me crutches. So I left and followed the doctors orders, with no improvement in the condition and what I felt as to be more pain than prior. So a week after that, I took up upon myself to go to a different emergency department for a second opinion. This time I went to university of Washington medical Center emergency department. I explained to them everything that occurred and what I was told by Valley medical. They assured me they would get to the bottom of what was causing my ankle area to be so swollen and painful. They immediately took me into a x-ray room and did various x-rays on my leg and ankle. After that, they returned me to my room in which a doctor met me there and explained to me that if the x-rays didn't show something was broken that they would have to do more test to see if it was possibly a form of gout, even though Valley Medical Center had tested my blood and told me they ruled that out twice. Once the x-rays reviewed, another technician came in and told me that they needed to take me to get a MRI of my leg. I was taken to get an MRI at that time. Then the doctor came back in to talk to me and told me my leg was broken. She showed me a x-ray that I could clearly see myself or the break was at plain as day. She said she could not believe that I was bearing weight on this leg at all, considering that my leg was broken. She also confirmed that according to what the x-ray looked like that my leg had been broken for approximately 3 to 4 weeks because it had already started healing on its own. How can a hospital misdiagnose a broken leg and give someone antibiotics? This is crazy to me. Due to this I would never trust valley medical again for any of my medical needs. This was a simple diagnosis and they dismissed me and it all together.

When I started treatment and my lab results eventually hit the normal range, most doctors would have said that was good enough. But Dr. Erik listened closely to how I was actually feeling and didn't stop there. He was generous with adjusting my dosing, going beyond the numbers to make sure I felt incredible, all while closely monitoring my health. Before seeing him, I was struggling with issues like brain fog, being overweight, undermuscled, feeling weak, and constantly tired. I also had low libido, no motivation and just didn't feel like myself. Thanks to Dr. Erik's thoughtful approach, all of these issues have been resolved. I now feel amazing, have more confidence, and recover quicker from my workouts. Dr. Erik is super knowledgeable and accommodating. He always explains lab results in a way that's easy to understand, and he personally calls to discuss everything with me. I appreciate that I never feel rushed during our appointments; he takes his time listening and explaining, showing his passion for his work--and it's clear that's why he's so good and effective. Now that we've found my ideal treatment balance, I only need to check in a few times a year for routine blood work to ensure everything remains optimal. If you want a doctor who genuinely adjusts your treatment based on your unique needs and feedback, Dr. Erik is the man!! His personalized care has made a huge difference in my life! I spoke with the IV nurse Debbie who offered great treatment details but was transferred back to the front reception for pricing and procedures about scheduling. The rudest receptionist answered and rambled off details about getting a referral from my previous doctor for UBI. It was the opposite of what I was told the day before. Additionally, after a very expensive appointment and detailed discussion regarding several serious health issues I'm dealing with, he only ordered a basic blood panel. I was treated very poorly by his medical assistant (Rama) for trying to include more tests (which later proved beneficial) in my lab order. Some of the front office staff members were extremely rude and unprofessional and Dr. Wright's assistant (Virginia) was snooty and unhelpful when I requested her help. According to front office staff, Dr. Wright said I was not allowed to see any doctors there in the future (apparently based upon whatever they told him). Really a bad experience with this group and their unprofessional and unethical practices. UPDATE: I found out after I left a review of my experience on Tahoma Clinic's Facebook page that they immediately removed the entire section of reviews. This just seems to support my opinion that some of them are unethical and want to hide their poor behavior.
