Their associate, podiatrist Eugene Batelli, performed two surgeries on me, left foot fusion and right ankle replacement. Both FAILED significantly so much so that I found need to be treated by an ORTHOPEDIC surgeon who has discovered broken metal and screws in my left foot and a fallen arch and my right foot ankle with a replacement dislodged along with severe damage to the supporting tendon. I have had corrective surgery on one foot. My point is: KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PODIATRIST WHO PERFORMS SURGERY (DPM) AND AN ORTHOPERIC SURGEON who is an MD.
