If you are in a clothing size larger than a 1x (I wear 2-3x) I ****highly **** recommend wearing something that you can easily slip in and out of, as I had to get re-dressed to enjoy my tea and foot soak, and then get undressed again for my massage. Needless to say, I felt like I was getting a workout in - lol. The tea was provided in a beautiful way and I had many options. The massage was great and I was able to relax and finally think about nothing for once. However, I did not experience any "dry brushing" - only hot stones and my therapist's hands. As far as a the facial massage goes, really only my forehead and temples were rubbed. I'm not sure what part of the face is included, but I assumed my entire face. I would also say that the receptionist downstairs and the receptionist upstairs weren't very warm. The one upstairs seemed annoyed by me even though I didn't raise any complaints with my service. They both weren't very friendly. I was given the remainder of my aromatherapy and a bottle of water when leaving - which I thought was a nice touch. It is in an absolutely gorgeous old home converted to a business. Hardwood floors, beautiful details....and A LOT of stairs! There is no way to get in without stairs :( they do have back stairs, which are easier-ish to navigate, but still not amazing. The massage rooms are in the basement. at least UP the stairs is after they've worked out the kinks. lol I have had a lot of injuries and often use a cane, so i always have to weigh how much help i need versus how many stairs i can manage. But once i'm there, i am NEVER disappointed! Been going there off and on for many years. Beth, Dan, Kevin...i've lost track! All of them phenomenal. I always feel better after seeing them. I usually get medical massage due to my injuries and they don't disappoint. The only thing i don't like is something they can't change - the building. And I really do love the building. "BUT YOU'RE ASKING ME FOR MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND NOT TELLING ME THE REASON" why. Her communication in explaining details is AWFUL and so was her attitude. After I keep asking why she needed my card information, she "THEN" tells me, it's because I WAS A "NO SHOW" to an appointment, but I didn't book on the 15th, but the 22nd and I would be charged $65 for a missed appointment. THEN I SAY.... That's why you wanted my card information. She wanted my card information WITHOUT initially and properly explaining why.. WHICH IS A BIG SCAM.. Inform people as to why you're asking for a credit card and EXPLAIN the charge... I refused, because I didn't book for today and on my schedule, it was booked for the 22nd. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS to any of my colleagues, staff, animals or anyone else I know... GRACE was AWFUL in communicating and has the worse customer service I have experienced!
