This business is crooked. I came in for a 1-hour massage and as soon as I entered the doors, they immediately asked for payment upfront... I thought it was strange, but decided to go ahead, even though I had never paid up front for a massage in any professional spa I've ever been to!
Following this, I was led to a room with a bed that had sheets that just felt unclean. After a few minutes I undressed and was laying there waiting for the "therapist" to arrive, but instead I heard her slippers dragging across the floor for what seemed to be about ten minutes. After waiting for quite some time, she finally came in, then left again for at least 2-3 more minutes. Finally, she came in and right away I knew this was going to be a terrible time.
She smacked her gum loudly, shuffling her way around the table in slippers, while bumping her gut against my head and giving the absolute worst mindless "massage" I've ever had!
Now, I'm a massage enthusiast, I enjoy it more than others, so I can give you a real assessment of how poor this experience truly was! Her only method was to run her hands up and down my back while my entire body heated up and I began sweating! Not only was I sweating because of the friction, but because I was paying top dollar for a garbage massage!! I decided enough was enough and after about 20 minutes of being steamrolled, I stood up and said I could not continue with this massage. I actually felt worse than when I came in and almost felt sick.
After getting dressed and returning to the front of the office, I spoke with the "manager" which was a slender man who I actually believe is the owner-- but says he's not... okay...
He informs me that he cannot provide any returns or exchanges, due to the fact that the "owner" does not allow it! I explained that as a customer, I felt the experience was terrible and that I would like to void my payment for service, as I didn't think I'd return. He replied with a 30 minute credit, which is essentially the option to come back for another round with helga the heatmiser!
I continued to explain to him, that --normally-- in every other case, a customer is granted the respect and dignity in this case, to not only receive a full refund, but also receive an apology and explanation as to why their experience was so poor! All thIs guy did was say that maybe I was dehydrated and needed to rest before returning for another "intense massage"... Then he gave me a 30 minute credit on the back of one of their cards. Trying to play off the fact that his hands were tied because he's not the owner, but the manager... Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight....
DON'T GO HERE! ALSO JUST FOUND OUT THEY UPPED THEIR PRICES AGAIN!!! NO WAY! SHADY BUSINESS! read more
