Extremely Disappointed -- Avoid This Dentist…read more Dr. Dustin Adamek performed a crown restoration on tooth #19, which led to a crack inside the tooth, infection, and the need for a full implant. I had to have the crown he put in extracted, and now I need an implant. During the numbing injections, he talked to and looked at his assistant instead of focusing on the procedure, and he seemed distracted throughout. He also complained about my previous crown work in front of me to his assistant, which was unprofessional and inappropriate. When complications arose shortly after, Dr. Adamek would not speak to me directly or take any responsibility for a failed crown -- all within three months of the procedure. I've never had a tooth infection in 58 years -- until now. The office staff was kind and professional, but the care I received caused lasting harm. I do not recommend this dentist. My gums don't bleed when I brush them and rarely bleed when I floss. Since I was 18 I've been told I have deep pockets and every dentists over the last 30 plus years tell me the same thing. I even told them that and it was a continued push from the dentists to the checkout person all pushing that I need to get the deep cleaning done. Wolf Ranch excels at installing crowns in the same day that you need one. They make them in house and love that you don't have to get a temporary crown and come back later to get the permanent one put in. Find a practice that will listen to you and realize that pushing a procedure to just make money is not necessarily in the best interest of the patient.

I underwent a periodontal procedure here that was one of the most traumatic healthcare experiences I have ever had. Throughout the procedure, I was visibly in pain, crying, and experiencing significant anxiety. Despite repeatedly expressing my discomfort, I felt that my pain was not adequately addressed, and the procedure continued. During treatment, I was told I was causing the provider to fall behind schedule because I was struggling to remain still. I was also reprimanded for breathing through my mouth and told I was exposing the dental team to nitrous oxide. Near the end of the procedure, I was warned that if I moved, a "very large needle" could go somewhere it should not, which only increased my fear while I was already distressed. I also sustained an injury to my tongue during the procedure. Following treatment, I experienced ongoing jaw and ear pain and never received a follow-up call from the office to check on my recovery. I brought my concerns to the practice and requested that they review what had occurred. I also disputed the charges with CareCredit, which ultimately reversed the charges after reviewing the documentation I submitted. Despite knowing the details of my experience and despite my ongoing concerns, the practice has continued to support the provider involved and has now referred the disputed balance to a collection agency. Instead of working with me to resolve what I believe were legitimate concerns about my care, I have been left to defend myself while continuing to deal with the physical and emotional effects of this experience. Patients deserve to be treated with compassion, respect, and appropriate pain management--especially during surgical procedures. Based on my experience, I did not receive that level of care.

I now am…read more I wanted to interview the dentist to go over my limitations and concerns so I booked a consult appointment expecting to pay for their time. I was not charged. My issues are with not being able to lay as flat as many providers want and limitations to time in the chair due to back issues as well as some types of procedures which have not been successful. I discussed all of these and we came to an agreement as to how to proceed. At my first appointment for x-rays and examination my requirements were met with the exception of the first hygienist who proceeded to lecture me. I asked for another hygienist for the cleaning and that request was honored. She used high pressure water to clean my teeth and for the first time I had no pain! Next came the removal of a crown because of decay below it and the building of a new one. Care was taken of my seating and time restraints and the work was divided into two sessions at no additional costs. Their equipment and techniques are all very modern and simplify many old procedures. The crown fit perfectly on first fitting. Overall, all the staff (with the exception of one) are courteous, well trained, communicate well with each other and with me as the procedures progressed. Every attempt was to keep me as comfortable as possible and to keep me informed as to what they were doing in my mouth. Overall a very positive experience.
