The hot tofu pudding is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It is the best hot tofu and the greatest value that I have ever found. They price the smaller bowls for $2 and the larger bowls for $4. I usually share a small bowl with my mom and we're both satisfied with the portion as dessert. There's no seating outside this stall for eating, but the food court is right upstairs and there's plenty of seating. I've also tried their cold tofu pudding but it doesn't taste as good as the hot version. Their soy beverage is also delicious and for a good price. There's usually a small line of 4-5 people waiting to order the hot tofu pudding since it's quite popular. Fresh Hot Tofu Pudding @ Healthy Soyfoods inside the Crystal Mall I saw a long line up waiting for the fresh hot tofu pudding. It's very inexpensive and generous portion too. Small for $2, Large for $4 tax included. You can choose sweet or savoury. They only have it on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I bought the sweet tofu pudding and brought it home in half an hour, It's still very hot. The tofu pudding is very smooth. It will be even better if they can add the brown sugar on top. Taste: 5/5 I also bought the unsweetened soymilk and marinated soybean inmitation chicken. I love the tofu desserts but not a fan of tofu itself. I came here got the tofu pudding to go. I used to come here a lot. I noticed the tofu dessert is a lot firm compared to the past. It was ok. Maybe this one just a one off. Overall, I still enjoyed it. Plus the price was inexpensive. A small 1 litre container of tofu dessert is only $3.75. Healthy Soy Foods also sells other items like sesame soy drink, soy milk, tofu, sesame film rolls and etc. I don't know if they take card here but I have always paid cash. Delicious tau huay (or tofu pudding or bean curd) here. My coworker told me about this place and the main shop at King Market along kingsway. The fresh warm tofu pudding is only sold on weekends here in crystal mall (daily at King market). You get to choose the type of syrup for the warm version and I like the ginger syrup. It is very sweet so I tend to leave plenty of that as I do not mash up the pudding into small bits. When it is warm, the pudding is very soft and silky, sliding down the throat easily. At $2 for the small, it is an affordable after meal dessert or snack. Due to covid, there will be 2 lines. One to enter the store (max 2 people) and one to just buy the fresh pudding. Ask the people in line what they are queuing for. The shop is not big and has all kinds of soy products. The refrigerated tofu pudding comes in unsweetened and sweetened tubs, be sure to check and get the right one. It is also good but just a bit harder than the warm fresh version sold on weekends. This review is for the Unsweetened Black Sesame Paste. It was very diluted and mixed with flour; you cannot really taste the Black Sesame. Because it was so diluted, it was not sweet. No wonder it was cheap. It was nasty. Also, they should not have the cashier counter in the middle of the store because the cashier would be unable to see everything and everyone in the store. It would be easier not only for the cashier to watch the store, but also it is easier for customers to browse the products (they now had created a "U" narrow path around the counter which made it uncomfortable to stay there). That is why most stores have the cashier counter, the shelves, and the fridge/freezer against the wall so the cashier can watch the customers while they are in the middle of the store. Moreover, it was really odd for the female cashier to say, "Next" to the people who were waiting to get in from outside their metal entrance gate (limit two people in the store) with her back facing the customers. If she was not looking at the customers, how would she know if there are any people waiting and the number of people waiting outside the store? read more

They sell almost everything soy, so this is a tofu heaven. I come here often to get the "black" soy milk, and it is really good, a little bit more pricey than the regular soy milk, but well worth it after you try this stuff. They also carry all you types of tofu, from smooth to firm, and some other tofu products, like tofu noodles, and bean paste, and green beans, and red beans. I noticed a granny drinking a bag of soymilk at the food court and wondered where she bought it. As I went down the escalator, I saw the store in front of the marketplace and decided to stop by. I found the bag of soymilk and gave it a try. To my surprise, it tasted delicious!!! Fresh soymilk and it only costs 75 cents??? Really like this tofu store. Their soy milk has a thicker and creamier mouthfeel than what I've had at other places. Prices are good too! I like experimenting cooking with all of their various types of tofu (ie. puffs, pressed, regular blocks, tofu 'skin' etc...). Hands down the best soy milk in town. Sweet soy is not overly sweet. Make sure you drink within the expiry date. There's no preservatives. They have a good selection of bean curd and marinated curd. Tofu. I'm a big fan of there soy milk. The store is smaller in the last few years. read more
