My wife and I have been taking turns alternating taking my dad to get evaluated. So far we have ruled out medications, Parkinson's, and a low B12 count. We are waiting on the results of a DaTScan to confirm or rule out Parkinson's, just in case. We also have a sleep study that was ordered that we are waiting to complete. The staff at this office have been kind and helpful in every interaction. They have been patient when we have been confused and have helped us get to the proper offices when my dad has needed specialized testing. The only reason for 1 missing star is that Duly is terrible with their centralized call center. I've had nothing but terrible experiences with making appointments and getting questions answered. Some people have been borderline rude, acting annoyed when I have additional questions.

The follow up care with the plastic surgeons office was horrible. I was only able to see the nurse and then when I was experiencing issues all I got was send me a picture. Then I heard over and over again, well you know this is a tough spot. Yes I am well aware of that, I am living it. So I took it upon myself to go to the wound center in Huntley. I was told about this facility by a friend and didn't even know it existed. Checking in was seamless. The nurses that first spoke to me were the best. Understanding, to say the least. I felt so stupid going there considering what they must see on a daily basis. My "wound" which ended up being more of an irritation was peanuts compared to what they deal with. Well it turns out I have an allergy to adhesive tape. Which is why my leg was so irritated, weeping and raw. I was taped from day one of my surgery and for weeks after. No one said to me, why is your leg so red, why is this not healing? You have to be your own advocate. When something doesn't seem right, there has to be a plan B. The Dr. came in with another nurse. He was great. He knew right away that it was an irritation. No one knew to what, but they figured it out. The nurse bandaged me up. She gave me additional supplies to take home and told me how to care for it. I am now on the mend and feeling so much better. I can not thank this facility enough for helping me. The staff here is amazing. THANK YOU!!!!!

I went to Vein and Laser yesterday for the first time, for a tattoo removal consultation. After the…read moreprocedure was thoroughly explained to me by the nurse (Bea), I decided to go ahead with the laser treatment on my arm and leg. Bea did such a wonderful job of making me feel more at ease, as I was fairly nervous. She explained the numbing process and constantly checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay throughout, which gave me a sense of comfort. She did not rush the procedure at all. I am prone to anxiety, and Bea's kindness and professionalism helped me get through it. Also, the laser portion of the treatment was truly painless! Upon completion of the procedure, I was sent home with a packet of after-care instructions, ice packs, and all the supplies needed to bandage up & care for the areas that were lasered while they heal. I am confident that I have finally found the right place to remove my tattoos once and for all, which is such a relief. There are several tattoo removal clinics out there, but based on my prior experiences and comparison to my great appointment at Vein and Laser, I'm not certain of their effectiveness or legitimacy. I highly recommend this office, as your care will come from a medical doctor and RN. Yes, it is a bit of an expense (yet not outrageous!) but worth it for the high-quality laser equipment and the extra care received!
