They dealt with a buildup in my ears, and then provided what I felt was an extensive set of tests by a very skilled Audioligist, with top notch equipment. At the conclusion I was offered the option to purchase a custom set of hearing aids, which I accepted. Signed the paperwork with a very pleasant office receptionist and am now looking forward to hearing much better again with my new equipment made just for me. I anticipate a long, pleasant and beneficial future with the folks at Spencer Audiology.

Including having to walk into the office to schedule a visit because the schedulers do not answer the phone or return your calls. I then brought paperwork in for paid family medical leave so I could be present for my six-year-olds surgery and healing. The receptionist informed me that I would have to pay a fee to get the doctor signature on this form. Talk about nickel and dime....I then called the office to ask for clarification on why I needed to pay this fee. The response I got was that I did not need to pay the fee for this form. They do charge a fee for other forms due to the doctor's "time" spent on filling them out. When I went back into the office I was met again with the receptionist saying I needed to pay a fee. No one seems to be on the same page about said fee. I am a single mother and I think it is ridiculous that I have to pay for a simple signature so I can ensure that I will be off work and present for my child's surgery.

I have seen him twice now and walked away without any answers to my issues or a feeling that he gave 2 cents about anything I was going through. I was actually told "We addressed your dizziness today but that is it." After which, he promptly walked out of the room and my visit was done! The audiologist gave me a big push to buy hearing aids from them. Like a used car lot. Second time for serious vertigo. Dr. Stackhouse said all he could do was reassure me that it would go away in a week or so. It was at an unbearable level, but he wasn't interested. There won't be a third time.

The staff is super nice and positive, the office is clean and comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Stackhouse to anyone looking for ENT surgery or care. They were very knowledgeable and through this specific third party insurance he was eligible for new hearing aids (the last place said every 5 yrs when it was actually every 3 yrs). My dad is very happy with this new clinic. Not only did they get him some new top-of-the-line hearing aids that are 100% better than his last set, but they educated him extensively on the care and maintenance of the new hearing aids. Very friendly, customer service is top shelf and my elderly dad has never been more happy about his hearing aids. They also have such a cute clinic dog that is very friendly and loves to play with her balloon while you wait. Love love love this place and how well they attend to my dad and his hearing needs and any questions he has.

I do not recommend the services provided by this Audiologist. Their website states they will look…read moreinto insurance benefits regarding coverage on behalf of the customer. After services rendered, I found this to be a gross misstatement. They declined my request to submit a claim on my behalf even though they were paid in full at the time of service. They flat-out stated that insurance providers don't cover services for audiology testing and that they wouldn't submit a claim for that reason. In fact my provider does, but they were lazy and wouldn't bother to check. I said I would submit the claim myself, but efforts to obtain the necessary medical codes and support documentation were met with resistance and rudeness by the front desk clerk. My impression was that this business is inexperienced with providing insurance claims for their customers and did not have the general knowledge of current claim practices or protocols. Nor did they appear to even care. They provide an extreme disservice to all their customers, especially Seniors who are generally unable to navigate the complex claim process on their own.
