Kathleen told she would contact United Health Care and contact me by phone for my portion of the payment. Kathleen called on Aug. 25 and left a message with my financial responsibility and asking me to return her call. I called her right back and her receptionist transferred to me to her phone. She did not answer so I left a message with my name and phone number. She never returned my call. I had a previously scheduled appointment for Aug. 28 at 9am. When I got to her office there was a sign on the door giving a new office address. I went to the new address and was told that I didn't have an appointment and Kathleen wasn't in yet, even though another client was waiting to be seen by her. The receptionist told me that she had canceled my appointment because she didn't get ahold of me by phone. Kathleen strolled in shortly after 9am. She told me to have a seat while she settled in. I demanded that the situation be addressed immediately. She had never even ordered my hearing aids and told her receptionist to schedule me sometime in September. I have registered a formal complaint with UHC and am referred to another provider. Kathleen Burch is a very inept business person.

Most recently, last month, I had a scheduled checkup and hearing test with Brian. Brian is new to this location, but has over 10 years experience in practice. He was very thorough, patient and professional. He showed me the results and explained/interpreted their relationship to my hearing range. This past weekend, I noticed my right hearing aid was not functioning properly. I called Sue at the office for an "earliest possible" appointment. True to form, she provided one the very next afternoon. Brian determined the problem, replaced the wax guards and they perform wonderfully again. You have to park down and around the building from where you get off the road which was a little confusing for my first time going since they moved. Every person you speak to is kind and welcoming which is a great way to start a doctor's visit anywhere. The nurse that saw me was a student she said, and was very patient with listening to my concerns. This is my usual doctor and he sees me for my yearly physicals and my diabetes checkups.
