I need to retract my statement a bit. A couple of the workers made a judgment call to call CPS on my daughter, I cannot and will not categorize everyone at this hospital as bad people. I don't hate nurse Shirley and Nurse Practioner Amy, I will just say they are human and made a bad call on a really good mom. I remembered," in order for me to be forgiven, I must forgive." I pray that they will not just rush to judgement in the near future and learn from that mistake. Did not receive an apology or anything from the hospital, but it's ok. God is so amazing. Be blessed.

They whisked us to the back pretty quickly & started getting him cleaned up, assessed & xrays while I did the paperwork. He got bandaged up & medication for pain. Grateful for their kindness, efficiency & care. If my family needs urgent care again, I know where I'll take them.

She's had to expand her practice with other business professionals. APRN Kristyn Lambert Is an amazing nurse practitioner. While I am not always able to get in with Dr. Richardson because of her busy schedule, Kristyn fits the bill. She is SO SWEET! SO CARING! AND COMPASSIONATE! She has all of the ingredients of a perfect medical professional. She takes the time to make sure that she listens to her patient concerns which is a rarity these days. The medical professional Industry is not what it used to be. I had my yearly exam today and was greeted by Gabrielle. I experienced an issue that had nothing to do with the clinic but had something to do with me personally. Gabrielle went above and beyond to fix the issue and made my life so much easier today. Excellent Customer Service skills she displayed and she showed me that my problem was important. The entire office staff got involved to resolve of my issue. I WAS SO GRATEFUL, not only for Gabrielle, but Audra who quickly stepped in to get me in and work fast and efficiently to help get me out of the clinic in record time. There were a few other ladies at the clinic that I did not get their names, but you can see they work together, care about each other and care about their patience's. A true DREAM TEAM! Dr. Allison Richardson has extended her practice to a new location which is located on R street, in the Heights., Little Rock.This is where the new staff is, but the original location which is on Chenal Pkwy has equally wonderful staff members as well. She cared about my issues. Dr Fry took the time to really explain things to me in ways I could understand. I didn't feel rushed. I was very happy with all the staff and the way I was treated. When she came back on (neither interaction had any friendly helpful undertone) I said I was seeking a second opinion with Dr Marks. She said you're not a current patient? I said no- and she responded with Dr Marks is not accepting new patients at this time." Then i said oh- ok. And she hung up. Ok- the directory that had his current reviews that were very positive said he was accepting patients. At least a bit more of a friendly receptionist might have given me reason to call back in the future or if you are taking contact information for a waiting list for in the future that would be great. But nothing other than that was said. Pretty disappointed at that experience and will not return to inquire any further information.

Warning long review! If I could give Arkansas Cardiology in LR less than one star I would. My…read morephysician was not the problem. unfortunately Baptist Medical center owns Arkansas Cardiology practice and they have administrators who apparently care less about the patients and are only interested in the almighty dollar. My insurance was billed $478 for a routine 6 mo. follow-up office visit for my atrial fib. and the most basic, routine, EKG completed that took maybe 5 minutes to complete. The physician asked how my heart rate had been doing, I said fine, no problems. Dr. then said my EKG looked good, he listened to my heart for maybe 30 seconds and then said call if any problems and he'd see me in 6 mos. The entire visit from check in to walking out of the exam room did not take More than 15 minutes (if that.) I, as usual paid my $40 copay up front. my insurance paid their contracted amount for a total reimbursement of approx. $130 but this was apparently not enough to make Baptist Medical Center happy. My insurance was billed a second time for the same Date of service-no further services were completed- $411 dollars this time for "medical services" ? and that same little EKG. My insurance paid an additional $77 dollars so now AR cardiology has received $207 total reimbursement. Still wasn't enough $ for them. Now two or three months later I am being billed to pay an additional $77 dollars. Almost $284 dollars for a very routine follow up visit and routine EKG. The Patient Financial services personnel (the phone number on the bill to call if you have any questions) were rude, condescending and non Helpful and referred me to the Arkansas Cardiology Clinic Manager. Left her 3 voice mails with no return call or email- no response at all. The first billing person I spoke with at Patient Financial Services was too busy giggling to listen to my billing question. She said sorry they had breakfast every Friday morning with their "big boss" and the big boss was there and she was so excited about breakfast. She further stated "they just billed what they were told to". I am paying the additional $79 only because the bill would certainly be sent to collections if I didn't pay it and it would affect my credit rating a few points, certainly not because I agree with the billing. I have changed cardiologists. There are too many other good cardiologists around to put up with this type of billing practice and unprofessional behavior by their clinic manager and Baptist Medical Center'sPatient Financial Services.

I got the feeling she did not know what she was doing They took everyone back (except 1 person) before me that arrived AFTER me Editing to add- because this provider was extremely incompetent I had to go to a different urgent care the next day. I was struggling to breathe even though my pulse ox showed a good result. Today I saw a provider at a different urgent care (Chenal urgent care is the place to go to)that listened and cared. He did a chest X-ray that showed really bad bronchial inflammation and gave me a steroid shot. I do not recommend Baptist urgent care even if you think you are dying. They do not care. They are incompetent. Also, someone who works there smells horribly of cigarette smoke. It was floating around everywhere. I know it's an employee bc they came into our room to turn off the machine that was making our room freezing cold and when she came in we got the horrible cigarette smoke smell again
