He did a chest X-ray that showed really bad bronchial inflammation and gave me a steroid shot. I do not recommend Baptist urgent care even if you think you are dying. They do not care. The staff did everything they could to make sure I could get treated promptly and get back on my way. The clinic doesn't have the equipment or facilities to treat more serious injuries but for your run-of-the-mill problems like minor infections, illnesses, or sprains this clinic would be my first choice any day because I can get in and out so much faster than I ever could at, say, the family medicine clinic at the nearby medical university. The only turn-off for me with this clinic is there is a lot of Christian or Bible-themed plaques and sayings posted around the clinic. I believe in treating the 'whole person' and in the valuable role one's spirituality (if applicable) can play in healing. However, when only one faith or religion is represented it implies that in the eyes of the staff there is the only 'right' belief system, and that does not feel welcoming to patients who do not share those beliefs. If a clinic is going to post such things on its walls, I believe it is more appropriate to post inspirational quotes from a -diverse- array of faiths or spiritual leaders so as to communicate respect for the diverse array of clients that walk through your doors.

Besides, on paper they look like they have not been open in 6 years or just simply not review worthy. Not that I'm planning regular hospital stays, but CHI St Vincent will always be my first choice. My experience began on February 28, 2024 with my pre-admission testing for an upcoming lumbar spine surgery scheduled for March 4, 2024 with an OrthoArkansas spinal surgeon. (That will be another excellent review on Yelp). As soon as I walked in the main entrance, the information and front admission staff were friendly, prompt, and professional. When I was sent back for testing, the nurses acknowledged me immediately, got me checked in, and started the testing process. All the nurses and the attending hospitalist treated me with professional care but still took time to treat me like a person, not just another patient. (I have been in healthcare for 28 years, and it is very important to me to treat your patients as a person, not just a number.). On the day of my surgery, March 4, 2024, I checked in at the front desk and followed the instructions to make my way to Surgical Waiting. The directional signage is very clear and prominent, and I had no problem finding it. After being taken back to pre-op, all the attendants, nurses, and doctors were friendly and very professional. The OR staff, as well, were friendly and professional, but I only saw them for a minute or so before being anesthetized. After being taken to my recovery room for a recommended overnight stay, all my nurses and aides were excellent and met my needs well. They checked on me appropriately and regularly and came promptly when I used the call button. The next day, I was seen by the surgeon, his APRN, and the discharge nurse, given all my discharge instructions clearly and sent home. Once again, I don't plan on regular hospital stays if I can help it, but if I do, I will definitely use CHI St Vincent in Little Rock.

Then I went on to say how I actually thought they were part of Baptist Health Systems (which they are not). I told her that all the medical information that I shared with (Medicare card, secondary insurance card, birthday, etc.)...I would like some assurance that this information was or would be deleted. She said she would have to speak with her supervisor about that and she would call me back in 20 minutes. That was over 6 hours ago. I do not want them storing or using my data in any way. Extremely Disappointed with Dr. Angela's Attitude…read more I normally don't leave reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. I visited the urgent care at 6805 Cantrell Rd hoping for professional and compassionate care, and instead, I was met with Dr. Angela's cold, dismissive, and condescending attitude. Her tone was rude, and she delivered information as if I was wasting her time rather than seeking help for a genuine medical concern. She didn't seem to hear me out, rushed through the short conversation we had, and made me feel completely invalidated and uncomfortable. There was absolutely no empathy in her delivery, and the way she spoke to me was not only unprofessional, but borderline disrespectful. I left feeling worse than when I came in -- and not because of my health issue. Urgent care should be a place where people feel safe and cared for, especially when they're not feeling their best. Dr. Angela did the exact opposite. I will not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone who values being treated like a human being.

He was precise and I have zero complaints. I would recommend him to anyone. Dr. Mears staff at UMAS Orthopedic Hospital were wonderful. Every one except the APRN were great. The APRN I believe was on a power trip and wanting to show me who was in control. She did nothing to help me and was very condescending to me every time she was in the room. However the Techs, Nurses and Dieticians were amazing. Such great people and very helpful. The nurse in the recovery room was awesome. She even came to see me the next evening in my room. I totally felt blessed to have the complete staff that I had. I wish I could remember all the names because they deserve recognition. I recommend UAMS Orthopedics Hospital 100%. Sarah my last Nurse was so helpful in finding me a pain Med that wouldn't lower my BP when the APRN wanted to give me low dose Toradol which does nothing for pain. Nurse Sarah went above and beyond to find something that was truly helpful at least for almost 3 hours. It was tough having no pain meds for many hours but I made it.
