Thank you to Heart & Home Flowers and Abigail for your thoughtful, speedy delivery of the Just Because floral bouquet and a dozen Chocolate Covered Strawberries! The recipient was delighted with the surprise gifts. I especially appreciated: -Being able to online browse both bouquets and non-floral gifts and to place an order via Heart & Home's website, which even allowed me to include a gift message for each item. -Abigail's immediate post-order phone call to confirm the delivery date. Abigail was friendly, knowledgeable, and kind! She cheerfully allowed me to make a color change to one of the flowers in the bouquet. When I called back to apprise Abigail of an error I'd made while placing the order, Abigail immediately corrected my mistake, sent me an updated confirmation email, and offered to deliver the gifts asap while the recipient would still be home. -Gifts were delivered same day in ~1 hour. They are conveniently located close to family...but beyond that, delivery is always prompt with weekends available on holidays, prices reasonable, and after using them repeatedly over the years -- the arrangements are always beautiful. This is in regards to flowers I had ordered for Mother's Day. The attached picture speaks for itself. The bouquet was absolutely nothing like how it was depicted online. I could forgive that, if the quality was at least on par... but the flowers my mother received were straight up ugly. They even left out the cheap/filler stems. I could have done better with HEB. I sent them a message (copy/pasted below) and gave them a chance to make it right. But it's been three months, and I haven't received a response at all. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is because I've used them before with satisfactory results. I don't think I'll be risking it again though. Hello, I have used Heart & Home Flowers before, and have always been satisfied with the service and product. However, the bouquet I ordered for my mother (which was delivered today) does not come close to meeting expectations. I understand that sometimes bouquet compositions must be adjusted due to availability, it won't always look like the picture, and some of the flowers may need more time to bloom - but I do expect the final product to at least match the value from a quality perspective. What my mother received today does not resemble the product represented on your site, or something of equal quality. I have included pictures of the bouquet I ordered vs what was received. I support local businesses as much as possible, and I'm not one to go writing negative reviews without giving the business an opportunity to make things right. Given that the product received does not match the value I paid, I would really appreciate a partial credit refunded to my card - or even a credit for later use with Heart & Home. My 8 year old asked for a single yellow rose for valentines day and my husband wanted to also send her chocolates and a stuffed animal so we found this place via Yelp. I walked in with the order and they did a fabulous job especially since it was the day before valentines day. Let me start with its so endearing to watch a group of people working together in harmony, laughter and smiles when chaos is reigning especially the day before vday. There were bumps and excuse me's and it was busy but there was so much kindness and smiles it was contagious. I fell in love with this place and will be bringing my business every time. Now as for the arrangement it was perfect and she loved it but my favorite thing was that my husband and I both got phone calls when the arrangement was delivered. Other flower shops that I have dealt with in the past never went to that length which is another reason why they will always have my business. Thank you guys for being amazing. read more

Love this place! I was looking far and wide for this specific doggie bouquet for a friend. It was online at a large nationwide florist web site but they didn't deliver in Austin. I spent hours searching. I almost gave up and settled for a regular arrangement for double the price. I'm so glad I finally found heart and home. They really are all heart and home. Sam made suggestions and asked about my wife's preferences , and made me feel comfortable that I had made a sound choice to try Heart & Home Flowers. Good Price and Great Quality! I was looking for a florist to deliver flowers in a vase for Valentines day to my wife's work. For the same price or even a little cheaper than the online companies that send everything in a box, my wife received hand delivered beautiful flowers. I have placed multiple orders online from CA for delivery in Texas and they've all been great. The most recent time I placed the order not realizing the recipient would be out of town. I wrote Heart & Home online and someone quickly called me the next morning to say no problem, they'd cancel the delivery and either refund my card or give me store credit. My son and his fiancé planned a big wedding for April 18th, but things changed with this virus. They wanted to still get married on that date. Nobody could find a florist to do flowers for their very small wedding. I was calling every florist near us and they were not able to fill your request. Finally I called Heart & Home Florist and talked to Lisa. We had only 5 days to get this done. Lisa and her team are true artists in their craft and outdid themselves. Everything was so beautiful and perfect. If your looking for a florist you can't go wrong with Flowers &Hearts. They were so helpful and answered my questions. This place is a joke, see the attached photos and you'll understand, $80 for this bouquet I had delivered. So pathetic I can't even describe it, absolute fly by night operation. Not impressed. They had two ladies working. I walked into the store (admittedly it is cute and small). No acknowledgement of my arrival. One continued with apparently a large order on the phone, the other continued pulling a variety of flowers for the ladies at the counter. I waited 10 minutes and turned to leave. THEN they asked me what I needed--orchids--wasn't given the chance to explain what or how--was told they were out (????) and were really stocked for prom. Three stars because I wasn't able to fully experience them. However poor awareness of the fact they just lost a large sale!! (Note that coupon they have--expired in 12/15). They are very close to me but never again! I don't do second chances when I'm given no chance the first time until I'm walking out the door. read more

I got a text from the bad florist saying "supply chain issues prevent delivery". I was furious. I'm torn as to this review. When I checked on Yelp it said it was 50% off the order. When I called to place the order I was told that promotion was over and that it was now 20% off. They almost lost my business then, but based on the positive Yelp reviews (and a bad experience elsewhere) I went ahead and ordered through them. Here's where I'm torn -- the flowers themselves were beautiful. Best & prettiest arrangement I've ever sent someone. I needed specific things with the order and 2 of the 3 requests were fulfilled, (I had asked for Gerber Daisies to be added to the bouquet design I selected and they were not, but my assumption is that they wouldn't have looked good with the design, and I had told them to do what they thought was best.) The lady who took my order was very kind and helpful, which I appreciated and they delivered further than their website shows. Overall a very positive experience, they just need to firm up the discounts they are running. read more

They had an assortment of floral selections variegated carnations, roses, peonies, azaleas, to name just a few. One steam ranged from $1.25 upwards. For the quality of their flowers, that was a very good price. I will pop back by tomorrow to pick the freshest ones before my visit. My mother is no longer living. During Mother's Day I try to remember other mothers because to have your mom is such a huge blessing. The senior ladies at Atria are like an extension of my own family. When you do thoughtful for things for them, they just light up, which is heartwarming.

There is a wide variety of eclectic toys, games, knickknacks, etc. they have several tables where you can explore/play with some of the toys and items they have for sale. This makes it especially fun for kids to have a hands on approach- not like department stores where everything is packaged and shelved. I do believe some items are a bit pricey but that's to be expected from a stand alone toy store. We did purchase two 3-D printed toys. I was hoping to get some more exciting items, but my son has taken a liking to these 3D creatures. They were $17 each, higher than when I've paid most times, but also fairly acceptable in price. The employee working made some small talk, but she wasn't entirely personable. I feel that businesses geared mainly to our children should have employees with bright and bubbly personalities. I understand that's not always a possibility, but I do feel it makes the whole experience better for everybody. The only true con to our experience was that the story reeked of cat urine. They did have the doors open with a fan blowing out, so maybe they're aware and trying to get rid of it, I'm not sure. But it wasn't a pleasant smell at all. With all that being said, we will be back. I've made note of things we plan to buy in the future lol.

Heart and Home Flowers created the most amazing centerpiece to match the decore of the recipients home. The home is decorated with MacKenzie -Childs items. The Christmas centerpiece had black and white checked and plaid ribbon on it. The staff at this florist more than met my expectations! I needed a large spray for a death of a dear aunt in Rockdale - no flowers at all anywhere near Rockdale (there had been 4 funerals that week in a small town). I called at 10:30 on Saturday morning and the spray was there by 5. They went out of their way to help me and DO THE RIGHT THING. The spray was beautiful and just as promised. The greenery and baby's breath included were even more lush than pictured on the website and the bouquet was larger and more impressive than expected. The corsages on the website look great and professional and the pictures she sent me of what she made looked great, but what I got was anything but. The flowers that were used were not the type that should have been used for the boutonnière. The flower was too big and thick and was not made as it should be. Now let's talk about the corsage. The material used for for the wrist was cute and all but was too small to even get on (she has a tiny wrist) without damage and this was tried before it was thrown away. The roses again were not the proper ones to use and was not even secured enough to the wrist band and was flip flopping everywhere. Not to mention the placement was odd and looked bad from every angle except from the top. I did order this the day before, but that was not an excuse because this was so bad that they could not be worn and I had to throw them away and get a new corsage and boutonnière from a local shop (same day as prom and it was beautiful and excellent quality and was don't the same day. ) she also over charged for the product I received.
