Dr. Reingold was recommended to me by a good friend who has been a patient over the last year…read more Until 2021 I was a patient for about 3 years with one of the top cardiologists at Piedmont Hospital. After he had me on 2 different statins - and ignored the fact that my memory was being affected, I stopped going to him (multiple reasons). Since then I've been hoping to find a cardiologist who not only is up on the very latest medical information and has extremely impressive cardiology training - but who considers integrative options and actually listens and truly respects me as a patient who asks lots of questions. In my first appointment, Dr. Reingold took a detailed summary of my medical history and keyed into several important points on my medical history that were totally overlooked by my previous doctor (and every other doctor I've been to over the years). I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and his quest to confirm my currently accurate heart health. He prescribed two tests which we then reviewed at my 2nd appointment - and subsequently ordered some labs to get the complete diagnosis and plan of attack. (I've not yet made the appointment for the lab work for those tests which are also very impressive and not just basically standard from most cardiologists.) (Note: Dr. Reingold already changed the dosage on the blood pressure meds I have been on for 2 years. My blood pressure is low, and my internist never keyed in on this.) I am totally on board with Dr. Reingold and anxious for results in a 3 month follow-up on his suggestions and protocol.

I have been battling with them for over a month to get them to bill my insurance or provide me with a super bill that I can use for a claim. They're also supposed to get pre-approved by my insurance prior to the surgery and never did that. Everyone I talk to at their corporate office is useless.

I made an appt. for the 4th and final treatment, informed them that this was my last treatment when I spoke with them on the phone. When I got there, I was asked to pay for the treatment. when I explained that this was the final treatment of my package, the girl at the desk said she would take care of it, and they took me back for treatment. Since then, I have received invoice after invoice, and have tried to talk to Someone on the phone and emailed them about this for 2 years now, and still this has not been dealt with. I can't even speak with an actual person for the company. I do not owe them for this treatment since it was already paid for. If this company was NOT going to honor the prior businesses packages, they should have said so at the time, and I would not have gotten the treatment. This is a terrible company. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Do not recommend North Atlanta Vascular Clinic…read more I arrived 15 minutes early as instructed, only to be told there was no reason to come early since my paperwork was already completed. I still wasn't called back until 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. The nurse never introduced herself or asked meaningful questions. I explained my symptoms and got a blank nod before she walked out. The ultrasound tech came in without introducing herself, gave no explanation of what she was doing or what she was looking for, and acted bothered to even perform the ultrasound. She asked why I was there after the exam and, when I explained, didn't respond at all. The doctor was in the room for maybe three minutes. It was obvious he hadn't reviewed my chart. He never examined or even touched the hand I'm having issues with. When I asked about specific concerns, I was basically told it's either surgery or do nothing, totally up to me. The entire experience felt rushed, impersonal, and dismissive. I left feeling like I had just met with an ambulance-chasing lawyer. So you'll sign off on me doing nothing or me having surgery? Make it make sense.

I strongly advise against seeing Dr. Patel. I have never encountered a doctor with such poor…read morebedside manners. I initially visited him in May of 2024 for severe leg swelling, and instead of investigating further, he dismissed my concerns by saying I had simply gained weight in college. At the time, I was 19 years old and devastated because I knew something was seriously wrong. Seeking a second opinion was the best decision I made. I was promptly diagnosed with May-Thurner Syndrome, venous insufficiency, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Due to May-Thurner, I required three stents because, as my new vascular surgeon described, my veins were "flattened like pancakes," meaning I had almost no blood flow and was at high risk for a blood clot. Dr. Patel showed zero concern during my visit and treated me as if I were imagining my symptoms, insisting I was fine when I clearly wasn't. His lack of care and dismissive attitude could have led to severe consequences for my health. If I could give him a zero-star review, I absolutely would.

You may think you have a couple, but when they do the immersive ultrasound, you will be amazed! I have to admit, was very nervous about having any type of vein treatment. My primary care doctor referred me to Aleman vein clinic, and let me just say coming here has been the best decision! From walking in the door and you see Julie, with her bright smile, fantastic glasses, and she always has everything ready to go for me as soon as she sees me, it means a lot to me that I don't have to tell her who I am, she is always so welcoming and has everything there! Then getting you back in the room promptly with Reepa. Reepa, she is definitely a jack of all trades! She worked wonders with my insurance company to get my procedures approved instantly, and when the second round gave her a little flack, she was on the phone advocating for me, making sure I would get my treatments done on time! She always has my appointments ready to go and keeps me informed with news about my insurance, deductibles and everything in between. Getting back into the room if you have any anxiety at all Stephanie and Jessica will get you ready, and are so kind, caring and just let me talk my nervous head off! Jessica is so bubbly, funny and keeps the conversation going especially when you feel awkward being quiet like me! Stephanie has probably heard all of my life stories by now and she is still so wonderful and always pops her head in the room to get me with a smile, knowing full well I am going to talk her head off! We have the best conversations while she is getting me scrubbed up, and it really helps to ease all of the anxiety I have getting in there, not to mention she is my (same day!) birthday buddy. When she did my ultrasound at my first appointment I was so amazed at all of the venous insufficiency I had. It's crazy to see what lies under the surface that you don't see. What I also loved is that you don't have to wait for a second appointment, Dr. Aleman comes right in and explains things to you after your ultrasound. What can I say about Dr. Aleman? He is AMAZING! Not only are his surgical skills absolutely pro, but his bedside manner is just so awesome! You usually have to sacrifice one or the other in great surgeons, but not this one! He is the most personable doctor. He comes in with almost a sing-song hello to greet you, and not only does he explain what he is doing, but he will just talk with you! My favorite topic is family trips to Disney! He is so interesting and it makes the procedure go by so fast and you don't notice the pokes and uncomfortable parts so much. After about a week with the right leg, I started to notice how heavy the left one was feeling and how much better the right one was. I knew I needed to get in to get the other one done. I attached a picture of my second leg, second day procedure. Minimal pain, heals very nicely, and if you have any worries, Dr. Aleman always tells me to call him with any concerns after every procedure! If you are reading this, you must be looking for a sign to come in, and this is it! You definitely should come here! They are the BEST!

I REALLY like Dr. Blaise. She is very informative and takes the time to explain everything…read morethoroughly. I hate to not give 5 stars but that is because of some of her staff. Initial impression is everything and, as a new patient today, I nearly walked out of the office before even being seen. Why? I arrived at my appointment 1/2 an hour early and needed to use the restroom after signing in. I asked the Russian lady at the front desk if they were going to need a specimen (I was 99% sure theyd only do bloodwork but thought I would ask to be sure) and was told "I don't know. Ask the nurse." Ok..except I needed to go like then. So I sit and I wait for a few minutes before she calls me back up and asks me to sign some paper for today's payment of over $200. I pointed out that a specialist visit is not subject to deductable (I also do medical billing) and that my copay is $50. Her response? "I only give what I am told." Well miss lady you were told wrong. She got with the guy in billing and he had it fixed. If I hadn't known to question this I would have been out that money. Finally I see Dr. Blaise and, again, I really liked her. She has really good bedside manner and explains everything. I left feeling comfortable with what she told me. BUT..... As I checked out (with the Russian lady again) I received the orders including for a sleep study. I asked if I could use a certain facility because my husband recently had one there and it was nice. She told me their preferred facility because "it is cheaper." Ok folks, I'm sorry but at this point I really was wondering what her deal was. I didn't ask for financial counseling, or express hardship. In fact I recall telling her I met my deductable within the first couple weeks of the year due to diagnostics I had. So why are charges of her concern? The preferred facility had bad reviews (like 1.5 stars) so no. I want to go where I want to go. I hope Dr. Blaise gets her in line because I usually don't have that type of patience so any other day I would have left.
