If I could give zero stars I would. I moved from NC and need to continue pain management care for severe degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine. I have years of records since 2012. Went to see Dr Grasso. He was dismissive and didn't even ask to continue my care. Wanted to send me for a new MRI. OK. I tried to get the MRI scheduled. My insurance said his office needed to send more information for approval. I had to call them at least 4x to get them to get this setup. Guess what? Still no MRI and I'm still without treatment and in pain. These people could care less. STAY AWAY. read more

I Only had nerve conduction testing done with them, I was referred by my neurosurgeon. Check in was Easy. Receptionist was nice & friendly. Mix-up with my insurance. They wanted me to pay a 20% estimate ($240-$360 which to me a is large amount, when I don't owe it). I explained I had met all my copays & deductibles & had not had to pay anything to any doctors in a while, so I shouldn't owe anything. I asked her to recheck my insurance on their site. She was somewhat defensive, saying my insurance company (Aetna) website must be wrong, as it said I had paid my copays, deductibles, etc, but we'd not met the family copay's, deductibles, etc. so I needed to pay the 20% towards that. We aren't required to. No policy I've ever heard of (I working in HR/Benefits for 20 years) reads that way. It's 2 individual family members = the family total or a combination of all family members, but once an individual meets their own, you don't have to keep paying towards the family total. I felt like she maybe knew that (no other doc has ever tried this) and they we're just trying to get extra $$'s from me for some reason. Hopefully it was a mistake. The doctor was good. Nice, friendly, explained everything during the testing, while he was doing it. His nurse was a little stand offish, she would ask questions about my history, but talk over me, before I could answer her, but nothing that was overly offensive. She continually yawned, so I assume she was just tired. There was no wait, which was nice. Overall I would go back, if needed. read more

Where do i begin? Hmm. The good. Miranda rocks. She's the one Dr Grasso uses to do most of the interacting. Odd but hey. It was my first visit and i needed relief, so i went with it. And she's a jewel. Dr Grasso showed me pics of deteriorating discs as he explained i don't need surgery and Miranda would be back in with back brace options. LISTEN CLOSELY!! DO NOT BUY A BACK BRACE FROM HERE IF U GO. THEY CHARGE 8x the cost of one in a store or elsewhere. I've had GREAT FED BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD INSURANCE FOR OVER 30 years and they have never seen a $2710 charge for a simple back brace. When i asked for an explanation i was told they billed BCBS the maximum!! BCBS advises most practices waive the EXCESS fee. In this instance the mgr at the office tried saying it was the insurance company's fault. No ma'am. Just a lesson learned. I've had major surgery and honorable decent practices ensured fees were in line w what insurance considers reasonable and even waived excessive fees. Highway robbery and lesson learned. I will NEVER RETURN!!!! Oh and he prescribed something that's about as effective as IBUPROFEN. SORRY. DR GRASSO is about as personable as a piece of paper. oh and in regards to my pain, it's still here but i am going to a new and ETHICAL PRACTICE THIS WEEK so maybe relief is on the way. Read the other 1 star reviews as they are dead on. These doctors (saw both Weil and Grasso) are inconsiderate, money greedy, and arrogant. As others have said, they only want to make you come back as often as they can so they can get your co-pay and bill your insurance. During 1 of the 4 appointments I had in a 3 week span I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment as I had noticed their sign alerting patients that they would be charged a $35 fee if they are more than 15 minutes late to their scheduled appointment. I then proceeded to wait an hour before I was led back to a room where I waited an additional 30 minutes. When the doctor finally came in there was no apology, not even a "sorry it's been a crazy day", just a "how are you feeling" and then "let's do an MRI". Literally, 45 seconds in and out. $50 and 2 hours of my day. Don't even consider these guys if you value your time and money. read more

Dr. Grasso is not very professional. He does not discuss his conclusions of your pain management with you. He makes his conclusions, then has his staff come in to relate those decisions. Like it or not, his word is law no matter how much pain you are in. I was crying in pain, and he fell way short (gave me NOTHING) of helping to manage it. I ended up being x-rayed and treated the next day by my orthopedic. They found severe damage that required immediate cortisone, MRI'S and other procedures and possible surgeries. Dr. Grasso ignored my injury and level of pain and sent his staff in to relay HIS personal findings. He wanted me to come back in a week. Sorry doc I need something now! He is in it for the money and likes to make you feel like you are crap and his word is law. Maybe you are wrong doctor, you ARE NOT IN MY SHOES!!! read more

This is my second positive review for non surgical Orthapedic. I been to many drs, arthritis, fibromyalgia, Etc.. came here I didn't want surgery, I wanted diagnosed. I do have a neck bone spur. I am on pain & muscle relaxers. I received 2 lidocaine shots, they worked really well, taking less medications ( leftovers for the month, before I was running out of medications before 30 days) since lidocaine was successful, I had a RFL/RFA radio frequency alabate. ( I canceled my 1st appointment scared, I bit the bullet. Monday I received RFL. Took 10 minutes out patient ( bring a driver) that day, ur numb, next day use ice. Wednesday I couldn't believe I slept . I was comfortable, magic.. it's only been a week, but feel brand new.. don't be afraid to open up to the doc, dr Jillian and dr Grasso, will LISTEN!! I haven't NEVER been so pissed out dealing with so called "Professionals" in my life. I was referred to them by my primary dr and that was the worst thing that could've did. The disrespectful ass (Administration Manager Jennifer) which her title is a JOKE is RUDE AF maybe even racist from our conversation we had. They office was to suppose to CALL ME to set up my MRI appointment but they even did, than rude ass Jennifer tells me "I should've been responsible enough to call them if they didn't call me". How dare that me your response, How about you be professional and set up the appointment like the patient was told you would do. Than she lied during the whole conversation saying the office was never closed (which I received emails stating otherwise). I had to pay $125 for them to fill my form out which they never filled out than Jennifer got angry because I wouldn't let her talk to me any way she felt like so she hung up on me. Keep in mind this is suppose to be someone's manager. She's a joke and so is the whole practice I will NOT be returning to them or recommending anyone either. There is absolutely no other practice better than Non- Surgical Orthopedics. I have been with them over a year for upper and lower back pain. Since having procedures and discussing our game plan, I can honestly say my condition has improved more than I thought possible. The front office staff, doctors, and all the nurses have shown nothing less than a quinine concern and sincere compassion for their patients. I was recently invited by Dr. Weil and Dr. Tran to participate in a research study headed up by Gwen Barber. For the past several months Gwen has taken me under her wing and walked me step by step through the study. She called often on her own time to ensure the medicine was working and just to check on my well being. Went here as referral from my chiropractor. The Dr. felt he knew what the issue was but stated that he would like an MRI done to confirm. I told him that I had a very high deductible insurance and that it would be an out-of-pocket expense to me. I asked the cost of the procedure and was told $450 - $500. They controlled everything from start to finish. They set me up an appointment through Wellstar. When I received the Wellstar bill it was over $5,000 my final cost out of pocket was $3300. I would have never got this just to "confirm" for that amount. Called numerous times and its not their problem. I may have been more diligent in verifying costs, but I thought they do this everyday and they would know so I had a comfort level with what I was told... I was wrong to trust them. read more

Effectively Ruined My Life After my well-respected anesthesiologist and pain doctor was no longer able to accept my insurance after being monitored and treated every month for 16 years for several severe nerve disorders I was referred to this clinic. I have previously been treated at Emory University hospital, Georgia Baptist Hospital, Kennestone Hospital, and others over the years and have been subjected to almost every treatment available, even a complete thoracic sympathectomy where nerve tissue is surgically removed from the spinal cord to control unbearable pain. It had taken 16 years to obtain some semblance of a life. I have participated in many drug studies to try to help others, Dr. Tran signed me up for a low dose THC study and presented me with a medical marijuana card and told me where to obtain the oils. During my next appointment Dr. Weil asked for a urine sample. He had only seen me 2x and never thoroughly reviewed my records. Dr. Weil immediately removed me from what he called a "plethera" of drugs, treated me with complete disrespect and sent me home without any pain or other medication. I have never in 20 years had a "dirty" screen. The withdrawal from ALL medications that I had taken for 17 years almost killed me and has effectively ruined my life after struggling against suicidal tendencies as a result of over 20 surgeries and procedures. I am a 65 yo disabled legal secretary. I almost took steps to end my suffering recently because of Dr. Weil's misguided, ill-informed, and total lack of compassion. Please look elsewhere if you are in need of a physician who truly holds true to his oath to "first do no harm." read more

I have been having horrible shoulder pain for a while so I finally decided to make an appointment. I show up with my 6 year old son with me because my husband is at work and we both have our masks on and willing to get screened only to be told that he would have to stay in the waiting room while I go back. Seriously?! He's SIX and doesn't know any of these people. Had I stayed and he came back with me he would have literally been sitting in a corner playing with my phone WITH a mask on. Dr Grasso is nice, but his office manager is a complete Bword. I showed up to an appointment scheduled two weeks out and they hadn't gotten approvals done. This happened THREE times. Then I showed up 15 minutes late and they charged me $45 for a late fee after they themselves had screwed up 3 times on not getting appropriate approvals. When I told her this she kept saying "that is a separate issue" which makes no sense, it's one relationship. Very bad. Again everyone else there and the doctor is nice. But the office manager is again... a Bword. If you want to show up and not be able to get services and then show back up and get charged for nothing.. then go there. read more

My son and I have received care from Dr. Grasso and Ms. Thrasher for several months since our car accident. They have treated us with kindness, compassion and knowledge to work to find lasting situations to our injuries. They explain all that is going on in the body and what the solutions are. They listen and make you feel like you are the most important patient of the day. Their nursing and office staff are amazing. From the time you walk in te office until you walk out the door again i feel cared for. From getting your blood pressure checked, wieght measured (ugh) scheduling a procedure to making an appointment and paying your bill. You are not a $ sign you are a person. Today i was running late due to some unforseen circumstances, when I called and explained my circumstances they were not annoyed or put off they switched me to Ms.Thrasher and told me to keep them updated and that they woud see me soon. Everyone has had circumstances that prevented them from getting the dr on time. And youve had to reschedule. So thankful for the accommodation that they made for me today. My husband was referred to this practice for back pain and calf pain. The visit was $163.92, Dr. Anthony Grasso referred him out to have an MRI done which was fine. He was then charged another $163.92 to go over the results and to be told he would need PT. However instead of giving him an order for PT they wanted him to come back to see how he was doing and then they could order PT. I then find out from my insurance we were over charged. 3 months later I was finely able to request my refund only to be told they were deducting $25 for a now show fee. What a Crock. Nope never again would I let him return to a Dr. that just wants money and no Solution. This office depends on pain seekers and people that need to come in for pain meds. keep your money go elsewhere. read more

I was recommended to this place by a friend that had previously done Physical Therapy there for sciatic pain. I too was experiencing lower back/sciatic pain and made an appointment. I drove from Villa Rica to Marietta because he's only in Carrollton on Tuesdays and I was in so much pain. Four hours of my day later, he did a few "reflex" tests after making me put on some ridiculous medical shorts because apparently my running tights I had on just weren't enough to figure out I had sciatic pain. After they charged my insurance and myself with the $50 copay, which they conveniently make you pay before you see the "doctor" I was told that unless I wanted an injection or pain medication prescription he would have to refer me to a physical therapist. Wait... what? Wasn't this place supposed to be that too? Nope. He gave me a number to call to schedule it on my own and sent me on my way. NOT before me being asked 3 different times if I wanted to schedule another follow up appointment (for what exactly is lost on me). I told them my exact symptoms over the phone and had I known this place was a pill mill for addicts I wouldn't have driven there the same day. Spine injections and prescription pain meds are not a reasonable "fix" for sciatic pain. He didn't give me a single exercise, plan, stretch. Just spent under 5 minutes with me and figured out he couldn't make any money off of an educated, athletic, non pain med addicted adult and sent me on my way. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. After driving 40 mins to get to my appointment, I'm informed that i owe them $125 and cannot see the dr unless i pay it. 1) after calling my insurance company, i did owe $76, but apparently was charged an appt cancellation fee (unaware of that policy) then fees for collection. I never recieved a bill. 2) i owed the $76 because apparently my referal did not go through. Why didnt they check that i had a referal before they saw me that visit? Oh, because they make $ that way. 3) lady then tells me if i leave today without seeing dr (without paying) i will be charged another $25 for no show appointment...but she'd waive that if i payed today. I left. 4) while standing there, i noticed they also charge you if you are even a few minutes late for your appointment. Wtf is wrong with these people? They are in it to make $$$, not help people. I'm a disabled veteran, in pain, and almost out of medication. I had the $ to pay that bill today, but i was pissed. I don't like feeling tricked. My husband saw Dr Tran in Vero Beach. He tried physical therapy and pain medication without any relief. The orthopedic Doctor suggested He see Dr Tran. My husband is 69 and has sciatica and spinal stenosis The epidural he gave my husband worked like a miracle. I appreciated Dr Tran's honesty and caring about his condition We are currently on a driving trip up north and decided to see Dr Tran along the way for another epidural. Either they were not clean, the wait was too long, the doctors made me feel like I was a number and not a patient etc. This is the first office where the staff was warm and inviting and the doctors really made me feel as if they cared. My first visit in 2012 was for lower back pain. They nailed what was wrong and PT completed my recovery. I called this year to see if they could help me reduce the pain from multiple fractures to my pelvis. The pelvis did not require surgery, but I could not get back to the activities I wanted. Their treatment along with PT worked again. I am back riding horses and loving every Spring day! read more
