Worst gym ever sadly…read more.. No one has gym etiquette . No one cleans their stuff and machines , not even the trainers. Front desk girls flirt all the time and takes the same man in dates in the same gym. The pool is always dirty and no one takes showers before entering the pool. Old man follow you all over the gym . The same old man have social hour around the machines with no sets and wrong form and make females uncomfortable. One trainer brings her dog doesn't clean her stuff ether and lets the dog walk all over it . I hope there's better gyms in town ....

My experience is that Pilates is for all bodies, not just ones who can do what she expects them to do. When I asked her why it was hiit focused she said, "we level up here." Mallory is very off putting and I do not like that she made me feel like I wasn't welcome as I am. I will be joining club Pilates down the way and encourage anyone older or less flexible to try a different place. Real Pilates is not focused on hiit or going as "hard," as possible. You can come as you are other places and fall in love with the original reason for Pilates which was to rehabilitate soldiers with injuries.

The studio is clean and comfortable. It gets hot in Tucson in the summer but the AC and fans in here keep it cool enough. The reformers are in great shape as well as all of the equipment. It's very high quality stuff that feels sturdy when you're moving around on it. Marissa is an excellent instructor. She'll kick your butt in the best way. I also appreciate that she provides different levels of modifications depending on what you're comfortable with and there's no shaming if you choose not to do the more challenging version of a move. She's incredibly supportive and her positive energy makes me genuinely look forward to class. Highly recommend In Balance Pilates!!! My only recco is make sure you sign up for classes in advance as they can fill up.

My fitness journey at In balance Pilates started a few months ago when a good friend suggested I…read morejoin her for a class. The experience has been more than I could have asked for. After ACL reconstruction, I've regained full mobility in my knee and, just as importantly, the confidence to trust my stability again. The reformers allow for supported, almost weightless movement that you can gradually build upon as your body is ready. They've also had an incredible effect on my spine, providing a sense of decompression that I haven't experienced anywhere else. Thanks to In Balance, I've found myself back in the gym and feeling confident in my movement again. As an unexpected bonus, the strength and mobility I've developed here have even improved my yoga practice, which had plateaued before joining the studio. The teachers are wonderful at offering both challenges and encouragement. The music is always upbeat, and modifications are intuitively offered so everyone can stay engaged regardless of their experience or ability level. All of the instructors have been stellar, but I especially enjoy Tiana, Katherine, Shawna, and Dana's classes. They do such a great job building community, and I've genuinely come to look forward to wincing through the challenges alongside the variety of people I find myself surrounded by each class. This is an athlete-focused studio that truly meets you where you are. The instructors have extensive training both in and outside of the studio, and it's clear they know their craft and put real thought into their sequences. I also really appreciate the predictable structure of the classes. There's designated focus areas each month (shoulders, abs, booty) allowing me to realize actual improvements in my strength and flexibility as the weeks go by no matter who's class I make it to. I trust the teachers to hold space for whatever level of energy I happen to have that day, while still encouraging me to push myself when I'm capable of more. I've tried a few different Pilates studios before, but Solana stands out in every way, the quality of instruction, the vibe, and the community. The space is clean, calming, and beautifully maintained, which makes each class something I actually look forward to. I'm so glad I found this place.
