At the end of that weekend, Shanda came on and told us that if we enrolled in the rest of the course, she would give us a "half VIP day." She stated directly, "I charge $35,000 to work with me, and I'm going to sit down with you and help you sort out your business if you sign up for the rest of it." Based on that statement, I invested several thousand dollars. When the time came, I discovered that the "half VIP day" was actually structured as a two-hour group session with approximately 20 participants. I received exactly nine minutes of her time. Nine minutes. The interaction felt rushed and dismissive. There was no meaningful strategic support, no real business sorting, and no follow-up afterward. When I raised concerns about the clear discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered, there was no accountability and no attempt at repair. We have a serious problem right now, both in the coaching industry and in the world at large, with leaders who are unwilling to take accountability when there is a gap between marketing and reality. When they closed one of their offshoot companies while I was in the middle of utilizing them for an event, it was hugely disruptive and I had to beg them to fulfill their promise. The info is so flimsy (you get 4 instead of the promised 7) throw away lines, instead of anything of substance. When you comment on how shockingly flimsy it is she wrote back in the most abusive way, defaming my character and telling me to 'get help'! amongst other verbal assaults. LOL! I guess she is projected reflecting back on her own less than stellar character and her abusive verbal assault on me. Regarding HeartCore Leadership: Christians should be weary, as it is Christians as something that will bring them closer to God, but it is founded on worldly doctrines such as Taoism. There will be things that challenge your faith and put you in positions that may make you feel like you are compromising your faith or integrity, and that is not something most people will tell you about as they are under contract not to share details of the program. There is value in what they teach and what you can experience, but you have to spit out a lot of bones for the amount of meat. Some of the experiences and ideologies are ridiculous, and the cracks of hypocrisy can be found if you pay attention to what is being taught and how the trainers react when problems arise. I was part of Mentor Me Live at $595 every two weeks and they didn't provide the coaching they said they would 4 out of thee first 5 months of my contract. The coaching was also totally different to what was promoted and my whole group of 8 left. I was also recommended to join Heartcore Leadership (HCL) and this just turned out to be a cult with brainwashing techniques! They tell you (after you've joined) that if you don't 'enrol' friends/family into the program you don't get to graduate. Your training time includes being in a zoom breakout room for up to 6 hours forced to email or call your famiky/friend to enrol. You're unable to leave the room otherwise you leave the program. The course training/coaching time is mostly focused on you getting others in the program at the expense of your own project that you sign up to do and only focuses on those people with 'wins'. HCL seems to be an incarnation of Lifespring which was shut down. Also runs under live4you. All same training tactics. I can say they are great on the front end, selling and appear genuine. The back end leaves much to be desired, with many people out of pocket with no progress in their business or leadership. Your money (and mental health) is not worth it, AVOID! read more
