It is very reasonable cost I think it was $3 for adults and $2 for kids/Seniors (65+). While it might be boring if kids are too young, there is lots of dinosaur bones that can be touched, and a few other interactive exhibits. If you looked at every exhibit and read everything it would probably take about 45 minutes to see everything. It is very impressive for being a museum on a college campus. Lots of information on the history of the land that is Wisconsin but from an Earth Science spin so what happened billions of years ago to even more recent meteor landings. It is right next to the planetarium so you can easily see both in an afternoon if you wished to do so. There is also a little gift shop if you wanted to get a little trinket. Come check out this place if you need something to do on a rainy day and want to learn a little about the Earth.

The current Art Nouveau exhibit showcases the different artworks, furniture, glass from the Chrysler Museum. The garden is beautiful as well. It's well taken care of and different plants and flowers were all over. There are fountains at the Rose Garden, Formal Garden, and Ceremony Garden. At the time of our visit, there were artists who were painting areas of the garden. Definitely worth visiting.

I would say I spent maybe 45 minutes to an hour in the museum. You just wonder from room to room looking at everything. My favorite were the plain old glass paper weights that were round. I was surprised that it's in a neighborhood area across from a park. Afterwards, I see it outside the museum and just took in the beauty. They also have a gift shop with nice glass things in it be sure to go to the second floor where they do have a little more to see.

They offered more to do than normal because of the festival but we still would have spent a couple of hours here regardless. Lots of cool examples of trains with many were open to us to walk through and explore. You could also take a train ride onsite. This museum is 3 floors of fun & so worth a visit! They have a special toddler play area for kids under 4 on the 2nd floor also. My very first Oshkosh in the books! Holy moly I was not prepared for just how massive this airshow…read moreis. We came on a weekday morning with 3 toddlers who were very excited to see some airplanes, and that's exactly what they did! There was thousands of them! If you or someone in your family is a fan of airplanes/helicopters, this is the place for you. We had so much fun touring the different aircrafts, watching the planes and helicopters fly, and people watching! The parking situation at the designated lot was easy, and from there they have buses running to the actual show grounds. This space is HUGE -- wear comfortable shoes! There are trams running periodically up and down the main road, but once it becomes busy they are few and far between - we ended up walking all of it (with a wagon for the kiddos). We probably experienced 5% of the offerings at the airshow, but wow did we have fun. If you've got a toddler, I recommend grabbing some noise cancelling headphones so they can enjoy the fighter jets if you're lucky enough to catch a show! We enjoyed some popcorn, ice cream, pretzels, and frozen lemonade while wandering around. Delicious classic fair food that was reasonably priced. We can't wait to come back as our son gets older and continue to make memories here!
