I had never heard of Gooddog before, nor had I even thought about looking out of state for a dog. It was the almost instantaneous response I received from Greg that helped changed my mind on everything. Greg set up a phone call for the next day and not only did he answer my questions but he also had questions for me, which made me know he genuinely cares about his dogs and the homes they are going to. They aren't kept in small cages in a backyard like some places I am sure I was calling unfortunately. They were being raised in a house on a large farm property full of love by him and his wife, and their family consisting of younger children, which was important to me with this specific breed of dog. Greg stayed in constant communication throughout the entire process, and sent me pictures and pupdates weekly! I have asked him a lot of questions along the way and even now, and he answers them without any hesitation, because in his words, "he loves talking puppies." We have had our girl home for 2 weeks now, and I don't think we've gone 2 days without talking. I feel like Greg and Randi will forever be apart of our family now. I am so thankful for them in this entire process, and especially helping us get our girl from Nebraska to CA. I couldn't recommend them enough!

We love our dog but cannot recommend Midwest Puppy. They gave us a sick dog. Our pup's been sick…read moresince the day we brought her home 4 months ago. We've spent hundreds of dollars on vet bills treating Five rounds of Giardia and Four rounds for a UTI. The day we picked her up she smelled of "funk". Even after we bathed her, the foul smell remained. We were never allowed to visit Midwest puppy (due to COVID). They neglected to reimburse our 1st treatment as promised, telling us to try seeing a different veterinarian for stronger treatment. We requested photos of our pup's mother to no avail. Why is this? They didn't care to get to know us via conversation or application (no screening). All it took was a deposit. Moving forward, we will adopt a Rescue. Good luck!

We picked up a Bernedoodle puppy 6 weeks ago. She is sweet and adorable, but has had health issues…read moresince we brought her home. Midwest Puppy let us know at pick up that she had loose stool, said it's because puppies eat their poop, sent us home with metronidazole, and it unfortunately hasn't been "normal" yet. Her stool sample from her initial vet visit after pick up showed Giardia, which we successfully treated. Since then she's been through 2 rounds of Metronidazole for diarrhea and a round of antibiotics for a UTI/vaginitis. We are moving onto a second round of antibiotics because the infection hasn't cleared; she also has a slightly recessed vulva which will hopefully correct during her first heat cycle. She is still having chronic diarrhea that we are trying a prescription food to correct. Midwest Puppy has been great with communication and truly seem sorry we have had such issues. We are $1000 into vet bills in 6 weeks on a $2000 puppy. Puppies are a risk but we'd hoped with a breeder we would have better luck.

There was a strong smell of ammonia/dog in the area that they take you to play/show you the puppies. But after being a regular volunteered at plenty of animal shelters I'm positive that it's nothing to be concerned with. Beth did give me a little tour and to my surprise she was gives the mamas queen treatment. She went into depth on why each thing was as it was and how she cares for them daily, she has really put a lot of time and thought into the design of her little animal facility. After talking I was amazed to learn of the time and energy that goes into caring for these animals. I understood and had zero problem with paying what she was asking for our pups. This family appears to be putting their hearts and souls into this family business and I felt that both Beth and her husband are doing an awesome job at breading dogs for what buyers are looking for.
