We love our dog but cannot recommend Midwest Puppy. They gave us a sick dog. Our pup's been sick since the day we brought her home 4 months ago. We've spent hundreds of dollars on vet bills treating Five rounds of Giardia and Four rounds for a UTI. The day we picked her up she smelled of "funk". Even after we bathed her, the foul smell remained. We were never allowed to visit Midwest puppy (due to COVID). They neglected to reimburse our 1st treatment as promised, telling us to try seeing a different veterinarian for stronger treatment. We requested photos of our pup's mother to no avail. Why is this? They didn't care to get to know us via conversation or application (no screening). All it took was a deposit. Moving forward, we will adopt a Rescue. Good luck! read more

We picked up a Bernedoodle puppy 6 weeks ago. She is sweet and adorable, but has had health issues since we brought her home. Midwest Puppy let us know at pick up that she had loose stool, said it's because puppies eat their poop, sent us home with metronidazole, and it unfortunately hasn't been "normal" yet. Her stool sample from her initial vet visit after pick up showed Giardia, which we successfully treated. Since then she's been through 2 rounds of Metronidazole for diarrhea and a round of antibiotics for a UTI/vaginitis. We are moving onto a second round of antibiotics because the infection hasn't cleared; she also has a slightly recessed vulva which will hopefully correct during her first heat cycle. She is still having chronic diarrhea that we are trying a prescription food to correct. Midwest Puppy has been great with communication and truly seem sorry we have had such issues. We are $1000 into vet bills in 6 weeks on a $2000 puppy. Puppies are a risk but we'd hoped with a breeder we would have better luck. read more

Midwest Puppy, LLC OMAHA, NE They delete all bad reviews on all platforms 7/11/22 I picked up my puppy and wasn't able to get out of the truck, see the parents, or any other puppy. The puppy these breeders gave me was coughing on the two hr ride home. She was eating grass before she was put into the truck so we thought she had grass stuck. A day later the cough got worse so we rushed her to the vet turns out she had kennel cough. We had her on 4 different medications well after 6 days of having her she had to be rushed to the vet again due to drowning in her own fluids the kennel cough progressed into pneumonia. She kept falling over, feet falling out from under her, medication wasn't working. Notified the breeder of this they refuse to pay any vet bills since they said we were supposed to return the dog. In anyone right mind why would I want to return a sick dog that wouldn't take care of her in the first place. She was skinny and could feel her bones. I asked for pictures of the parents, but it took a day or two to get pictures. The father wasn't taken care of. Needed to be groomed. We are now about $1,500 in vet bills and they refuse to pay.
