I found a wonderful new Dr who was shocked they were going to force that many shots on my daughter and lets me pick my own schedule. They are more worried about getting their payout from the insurance company than the safety of your children. If shots aren't on time they don't get their huge payout. Please do your research bc these doctors don't have your children's best interest at heart. I am so happy I spoke up for my baby. When my child was hospitalized at Christmas several years ago, the whole practice really stepped up. I'm not sure that they actually do rounds anymore, but I really appreciated the support then. I've been on the fence regarding referring others to them lately. Though I adore our doctor, I've been unimpressed with some others. Also, the practice is exceptionally busy and, as my kids age out, I feel more and more like a number. I will say, though, I've never found the staff to be rude or uncaring. I can't attest to the other doctors, but Dr. Manners is not very knowledgeable for anything other than an ear infection. She will refuse care if she isn't satisfied with your answers during checkups. It's like if your first answer doesn't fit her narrative, she asks the question a different way and vocally judges each response until you are crying in the chair begging for someone to just help your child and quit playing these interrogation mind games. If you want a specific example, my son started seeing a virtual therapist provided by my ex's insurance as she refused to treat his anxiety and depression. Because she couldn't find the physician in her computer to contact to "confirm" the medication (literally just Zoloft), she told me that she was not comfortable prescribing him the medication he REALLY needs and has been prescribed by her and others for most of his life. I guess I'll just get the man in the computer to handle his health rather than the "doctor" right in front of him. AuDHD parents are doing THE BEST they can, especially with wait lists for quality in-person therapy being 10+months long in this area. If you are not comfortable with providing our children with the care they need, then stop advertising that you are!

All of our kids were born prematurely. When we had a bad experience with a referral for in home Jaundice care. I simply just mentioned it to Dr. Klemm atca follow up appointment and he quickly resolved it. I was exhausted and overwhelmed with being a 1st time Mom of a premature baby to care for and was so grateful for his intervention without even having to ask! Over the years the care our boys have received by Dr. Klemm, the nursing staff and the front office has been are unmatched. When we moved almost an hour away 11 years ago, I still made the trek to their new office, even further away because there is no-one else I trusted to treat our boys. Side not one insurance issues: BCBS of AL loves to blame the Physician/Provider for insurance issues when in reality the quality of the insurance provided by BCBS of AL is terrible. We've had BCBSAL for 20 plus years. Each year we pay more and get less coverage. I imagine all doctors and front offices are overwhelmed with the ever changing coverage. I find it unfair to blame HPA when the ones raking in billions of dollars are the company execs at BCBS while we get LESS coverage and PAY MORE. Somr Physicians are leaving their fields because of all the loopholes they go through just to be able to treat patients and make a decent living. Policy change is necessary for better healthcare so Physicians can focus on treating patients not paperwork.
