This schools has grown too big for its own good. Some of the stories I have heard from my children about the courses and lack of help in the classes is just down right appalling; especially the mathematics department. When either of them would reach out for help, thy would be brushed aside and told to go to "math centers" or they were made to feel that they were a burden or a bother to teachers for after school or before school help in many subjects. Even as a parent, when I would email or call to try and be proactive about my children's work or any help they needed, I was treated as if I were a bothersome parent or just simply ignored. This school is horrible. The dress code is out of control, changes every year and seems to only be enforced with certain students. If they want a dress code that is so ridiculous they should put in place a uniform code. I do not recommend anyone voluntarily send their child here if they do not have to; if you can, send your child to a better school. Weigh out your options if you can. I believe mine would have been better off at a different school.

My daughter was a student here from 1st grade through 7th grade. The school was run into the ground…read moreby the former owner; Lyn Kutzelman. She only wanted free help and not consulting support from all the people that were in her presence as parents. Due to the sale of the school and the lack of interest for 8th grade the upper school was closed. We moved our daughter to Windham Middle School and if it was not for a full-time tutor she would have failed math. This was actually "taught" by Lyn's daughter and another instructor within HA. Core concepts were never taught but lots of photocopies of old textbooks were used as teaching materials and homework. This would explain why people used outside math teachers while their children were enrolled. In 1st grade we had 29 students and by 7th grade we had less than 10 and of the 10 only 5 were from the 1st grade class. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they did with the level of education being so low that back to basics was required to survive in another schools system. Keep in mind my daughter achieved high grades at HA and even made Honor Roll and High Honors. Yet, outside of here she was failing. Waste of 7 years of education and money. A NH teacher of the year has left as well so they could even keep a few of the gems that they had on staff.

Zach and Kyle easily assessed everyone's skills or lack thereof and guided us accordingly. They were factual and direct with feedback and ways to develop better skills in a manner that maintained your confidence even when you were being hard on yourself. Always patient and personable with a great sense of humor, they were structured with the time to make sure we received every bit of education and experience offered. I'm amazed at what I learned and had the best time doing it! I left knowing my strengths, what I need to practice to keep developing my skills, and very excited to get to the DMV! I see the road completely differently, becoming a better/safer driver no matter what I'm driving. I highly recommend their courses !!!!!

When I heard from a few that the director had been there for decades and that not only their grown children went to this school but now also their grandchildren, I had to see for myself. The great reviews are completely justified. The teachers and staff are professional educators that care and love these 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old children. They teach them so much, but never in a institutional way. The teachers are creative, they make learning fun and engaging. The kids learn through exploration and participation. Really, I can't say enough great things about the school. Now, our 2nd child is there and we all love it.
