Overpriced, unqualified, and unprofessional, bad experience from a shoddy, little company. 1. Overpriced because they're 2/3 MORE than my doctor's second referral for comparable equipment, with much worse service. 2. Unqualified because: a) the alleged respiratory therapist who called me unexpectedly was unfamiliar with the controls of the CPAP device that her own company provided; b) she was unfamiliar with the industry-standard functionality behind those controls (reducing flow during exhalations); c) This person wasn't even listening in the first half of the call, ignoring my words such as "quite a bit of bloody mucus" and "hurt too much to leave on more than 20 minutes" - just no response at all, only silence. I know multi-tasking when I hear it. d) In the second half of the call, she merely read word-for-word the cleaning instructions I'd already been provided; e) She never mentioned my sleep test, therapy goals and metrics, how the data would be used. She left me with no next steps other than "your doctor's office will be in touch". (My new provider assigned follow-up person and made sure I understood the timetables for a true therapy program, not just a machine delivery.) 3. Unprofessional because: a) they first scheduled me on a day when the company doesn't work (Friday), no choice for the patient. b) The alleged therapist dismissed it with "that wouldn't have happened because I don't work on Fridays". Better response would have been "I'm sorry that happened and I took you by surprise, I'll look into that." c) The phone staff let me die on five minutes hold waiting for a supervisor, then refused to answer when I re-dialed. Their phones ring for a solid two minutes before the answering machine comes on, meaning they intentionally discourage callers. read more

Life changing and easy experience. I completed the entire process with Heartstrong. The sleep test was easy, used the WatchPAT ONE testing device for one night. Later that week I had my telehealth consult with a sleep doctor to review my results and receive my prescription. I purchased the ResMed AirSense 11 and went with the ResMed N20 mask system. The results have been amazing. I'm such a strong believer and CPAP I even purchased the ResMed AirMini for when I travel. CPAP therapy has been life changing. I now have more energy, wake up feeling rested, and have lowered my high blood pressure. And oh yeah... hello morning wood! The team at Heartstrong know EXACTLY what they are doing. Bad service, charged over the phone on advanced and promised to send me equipment with in few days, after a week they told me equipment was on it's way on Friday, 4 days after, they told ne that carrier had delivery issues, I asked for tracking number and found out that they lied because tracking number showed shipping date the same day I called asking for the equipment, about two weeks after they took my money, when I was told that equipment would be delivered with in less than a week, I do not recommend it at all. read more

Watch out for this place.. they will collect a large co-pay up front when it turns out to be much less. Not only will they not advise you of the credit to your account. They will only admit it when confronted...Then they will try to sell you a CPAP machine asking for all kinds of dollars upfront as well.... I had to basically threaten them to get my refund... On Friday October 4th ( as I was going to bed), I discovered that my CPAP machine (purchased from Heart Strong Sleep Center) was having a very troubling issue. Because of this troubling issue, I was unable to use the CPAP machine. On Monday, October 7 after placing another call and voicemail, I received a phone call from a representative from the Company stating they would send me a replacement unit. Being in the health professions myself, I have an opportunity to potentially help patients with sleep disorders and obstructed airway issues (OSA) on a daily basis. Airway obstruction can reduce the oxygen levels in our body and have an affect on our overall health and well-being. The location is conveniently located in the heart of The Woodlands. I was greeted by the nurse who administered the study upon my arrival. She was extremely affable and quickly relieved any apprehension I had about going to a strange place to sleep. The accommodations were hotel-like. Nice bed, tv, private, and most importantly... impeccably clean. The nurse continued to assist me with my needs. After leaving the full results were sent to me. I tend to be detail-oriented on things like my health so after I spoke to the person who explained the results I dug deeper into researching sleep apnea. When I called her back on the direct number she provided me with on a couple of things I didn't understand she patiently explained to me in detail what was going on. Come to find out I had moderate sleep apnea. They brought me in and I did another study with cpap therapy. Same type experience second time. They made adjustments with air pressure to fine tune the settings on the cpap machine I ended up getting. Walked me through using it at home and made follow up phone calls just to check in. No billing or insurance issues for me. Everybody seemed above board and customer-service oriented to me. I recommend everyone to them if I find out they're big snorers. After learning more about sleep apnea, seeing two ENT doctors, and getting treatment I believe I have definitely decreased the likelihood of cardiovascular complications should I end up being blessed enough to make it to my old age. read more
