When I arrived, the front desk told me that I would need to wait up to 10 business days for the form to be completed. However, they then gave me a document to sign stating that the processing time was 5 business days, which was confusing and inconsistent. I even offered to wait in the office until the doctor had a chance to review and sign the form, but I was told that was not an option. What made the situation even more frustrating is that my physician had already faxed the paperwork to this office multiple times and never received a response. Every time I tried calling, I was placed on hold for over an hour, even when the automated system stated that there were only two callers ahead of me. After waiting nearly the entire day, I finally received a call back and was given yet another answer. This time, I was told that the form would most likely be signed and sent back by the following day. The lack of communication and inconsistent information has made what should have been a very simple process unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming. This office seriously needs to improve its phone system, communication between staff, and consistency when providing patients with information. Patients should not have to spend hours calling, make an unnecessary trip to the office, and receive multiple different answers just to have a straightforward form reviewed and signed.

I made and appointment and on the say of my appointment, the wait time for me to be called was short. While I was waiting, the receptionist even had to deal with a cantankerous man trying to con them out of getting free batteries for his hearing aid. He was difficult. Certainly one of those situation where many receptionists may lose their patience. The way the receptionist handled that situation was quite masterful in customer service; polite and respectful but not letting him get away with that.

Of course not. In my experience, both Jessica and Dr Davis have helped me with my disability forms with no problems. I have had numerous illnesses in the past, and I still struggle with them. When I have concerns , or questions I am able to receive the help fairly easily. I am fortunate that I have had a long history with them so perhaps, this may make a difference. Nevertheless, I believe without my doctors, nurses and staff members I feel I would have never survived without their support and assistance. I am grateful for their care and always will be.

The medical assistants doing the BP check and temperature are the most caring people it seems, and a random NP Cuevas, seems to know more how to prescribe meds. At times they have also cancelled my appt without letting me know and then I have to make another appt, awaiting longer than 2mo. This is not good for someone who has diabetes and to run out of meds. My pharmacy calls and they do not answer so I have to come in to see a Dr before my meds are refilled. I wish I could afford to go back to Kaiser or a better office that would care more for their patients. Also seems like they the front office answer or treat people of light color vs minorities, although they are mostly minorities themselves.
