Though I was crushed when I learned that (prior dispenser/audiologist) Ashley Pritchard had apparently moved on in pursuit of greener grass, my anxiety was swiftly dissipated through the calm and friendly professionalism of Robert, the new dispenser/audiologist at HearUSA's Glendora branch. Disclosure: I've worn hearing aids since Gerald Ford was president and depend on them, especially my L aid, to help me hear/communicate. So when I inadvertently dropped my L aid this morning then noticed it had ceased to amplify ANY NOISE whatsoever, I became more alarmed than the Mayor of Hiroshima in August 1945! To their credit, the staff at HearUSA did not over promise me anything. They merely invited me to come in for an unscheduled walk in appointment and they'd evaluate the matter from there. Though I arrived with my Signia-issured warranty cards intact and had resigned myself to having to replace the L aid, Robert greeted me with his stately demeanor and took my imperiled aid to the back. He returned, five minutes later and told me he had removed a microscopic piece of dust or filament that had impeded the device's microphone, thus restoring my aid to its pristine, pre-fall condition!! If several back and hip surgeries hadn't stopped me, I would've jumped right through their roof in exultant jubiliation at this wonderful gem of good news! Major kudos to ROBERT and we wish him nothing but the best of luck in his new role as the dispenser/audiologist here. Tip: Longtime Receptionist / Support Staff JOANNA is out on maternity leave but: A.) She will be returning back to her job within the next month or so; and, B.} The young lady filling in for Joanna has been exceedingly professional and friendly in all my dealings with her.

I made and appointment and on the say of my appointment, the wait time for me to be called was short. While I was waiting, the receptionist even had to deal with a cantankerous man trying to con them out of getting free batteries for his hearing aid. He was difficult. Certainly one of those situation where many receptionists may lose their patience. The way the receptionist handled that situation was quite masterful in customer service; polite and respectful but not letting him get away with that.

My mom has been to one dr who was incompetent in removing the wax and so we are seeing a specialist to have them do it then back to Pacific Hearing for the Dr to set her other hearing aid. It's been a back and forth process but he is very reliable and nice and very professional. He knows what he is doing 100%!!

However, she recently moved to Santa Clarita to be closer to us and we took her to this office today. According to her, this is the nicest, most professional and friendly office staff with all the up-to date equipment. Her hearing aid stopped working. It was purchased at a different audiology department. Audiology Associates sent the hearing aid out for repairs and contacted the previous business where it was purchased to get the most up to date records. The staff communicated regularly with my mother-in-law and kept her informed during the entire process. The hearing aid was fixed a week sooner than expected. It was very easy to make the appointments. Once the new settings were dialed in they told her she could come in any time without an appointment for any type of adjustments. My first interaction was with Shant Tomassian and it went well, he ordered the bloodwork i was interested in running for the wellness concerns that I had. Never received a follow up call or contact on my blood results to guide me through what the results meant. I called the office and asked what the next steps were, they told me if I didn't hear anything then there's nothing to be done. But that doesn't explain the concerns that I'm having with my health and wellness. They scheduled me an appointment with Bianca, who is supposed to be specializing in women's health, but a day before the appointment they called me to reschedule and push it back a week. Her appointment times are terrible. She's only there on certain days of the week, there's no early morning or after work appointments. I specifically told them from the original booking that I would have to use my lunch break for the appointment and would have less than an hour to be there. The Office assured me that I will be seen when I arrive. When they called to reschedule my appointment, I reiterated all of that. I arrived for my 1130 appointment right at 11:30. At 12:05 I still hadn't been called back and checked with the front desk how much longer it would be. From what I could overhear it sounded like there were 3 to 4 more appointments in front of me. Which meant I would've been there well over an hour before I would've been seen. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. I told him to refund my copayment. Thankfully, they did. My initial experience did not outweigh the rest. Don't overbook if you can't see your patience in a timely manner. The least you could do is let them know what they expected weight is when they arrive for their appointment. I've now lost my entire lunch break, was late to getting back to work and have to find a new doctor all in one. If they don't care about your time, they don't care about you.
