We had used them since 2018-2019 and everything had went smooth for each year…read more I believe that I still have the text messages on an old phone of mine, but I was told for the year of 2022 filed in 2022 (on top of this it took a while for anyone to get back with us) we had to do an amended return due to us forgetting that my husband was getting a 2nd w2 from his job( they switched payroll companies) that there will be $400 coming out of our Amended return, we'll we never got anything back from that amended return and they came back and said that they overpaid us $400 based off of both the original return and the amended return, which makes no sense to either. Then to top it off we got a letter in the mail for 2023 that allow my husband's State taxes were not applied to the return! We deserve a refund for what we paid them to do our taxes, since it was done incorrectly. We have never had to pay Federal for an over payment and never not included all of our income. Since my husband is the first one on this tax return, you are welcome to reach out to him as well. But we will not be doing business here anymore.

Joke. Took fully fleshed out tax return info IN FEBRUARY. They had to file an extension before the…read more4/15 filing deadline because they had not gotten to my return. Really? Every time I called, I was told my return was 'in review'. Finally IN JUNE, I picked up my docs and headed to a CPA firm with more customer service. Don't bother going to Brackmann. No communication, delays for no given reason. Plus, when I pulled my docs, I was told that Brackmann would not be responsible for any penalties even if their delay was the cause. Huh?
