I finally left when the rates went up 20% with no effort to provide a better policy. I was able to find another policy through a different agency saving over $1000 with the same coverage. They really do not look out for their customers' best interests.

Each January, we receive a notebook in which I complete tax-related proprietary forms and attach official documents which simplify the practice's information gathering phase. During our appointment, we discussed (with Allan) changes in our lives over the last year ... and anything that we could foresee ... that could affect our tax position in 2017. Allan does not actually key the input, that is completed by one of the staff specialists; however, he reviews every return and accompanying schedules. As far as the L&B Check Cashing place goes it is in a bad location; so I am really not sure why they would leave their business open for anyone to walk in. If one wanted to they could probably pry the door open to the counter and get away with any money they have there. I mean while I was there waiting for someone to show up I called the phone number for the business with no answer, walked around the outside, yelled through the service window, and waited for at least 30 minutes with no response. Completely green to the process, I scrambled to find another insurer and was recommended the Taylor Agency to help, and help they did. I had a new policy within a week. Flash forward a few years, and a neighbor's dying 40 foot tree has resulted in 5 or 6 claims over two years. That insurer issued a non-renewal notice in November of 2019, claiming that we'd exceeded the number of claims without ever previously noting this limitation. Even though we had a claims history that made most insurers wary, we had a new policy within a month and avoided a lapse in coverage due to Katie's diligence and dedication. Flash forward to June of 2020, and our bank has told us that we had no insurance from Feb. '19-Nov. '19, and that they had bought a policy on our behalf and would be paying out of our escrow to cover the costs and increasing our mortgage payment to make up the difference. I sent katie the letters one evening within 8 hours received a call from her, saying she'd spoken to the bank and received verbal confirmation they were in the wrong and would be refunding our escrow. TRULY AMAZING!!
