I found out on a lovely Saturday afternoon that the place I'd been renting for over 2 years was…read morebeing foreclosed upon. It became a short sale situation and I quickly realized I needed experienced help in navigating the steps to purchase it myself. I used the resources on Zillow to educate myself on the different types of Realtors and once I knew what I needed I started keeping an eye out as I checked the daily listings. I found Carrie Fairman and she was all the things I needed: a local female that was licensed in NC that had short sale experience. Carrie is an incredible example of what a Realtor should be. She's mannerly, punctual, positive, informed, quick thinking, and not afraid to ruffle feathers to do what's right. Carrie goes toe to toe on her buyers' behalf not because she has to, but because she WANTS to protect her client. She's fierce in her determination to get them a fair shake and at the end of the day you just can't ask for more than that!! It took us 6 months to work my short sale deal that involved court dates and visits to the IRS office, but Carrie stuck right by me through it all. When I called - she answered. When I texted - she responded... every single time. Carrie was also invaluable when it came to connecting me to some amazing people including my mortgage lender, my closing attorney, my home inspector and my home warranty provider. Ms Kronen is a professional, smart and mercifully frank. The lady doesn't sugarcoat or shy from presenting the facts, all of them. I've trusted Ms Kronen to close on several properties for me (some sight unseen) and sell another one, all of this long distance. She always had our back and watched over our interests as if it was her money. What else, MS Kronen was willing to invest her time and proved extremely patient with my never-ending internet shopping, and has helped me get the right price on several other deals which we subsequently decided to walk away from after inspection. With a signed contract in hand a lesser realtor would have gone "oh, but that will buff right out", this lady remained steadfast and say " George forget about his one, it needs too much work". Kudos.

The sale of our house was smooth and successful because we selected Consuelo Souders! Looking back we are extremely happy we did not choose the quick sale, no showing approach a realtor advertises on the radio. We met with that realtor obtained the initial price offer and then contacted Consuelo Souders. The difference between their net price to seller and the net price to seller we got using Consuelo was $43,000 more!
